Quartz Nails Are The Newest Beauty Trend And They Literally Rock
There's a new beauty trend taking over Instagram and it's absolutely stunning. Say hello to "quartz nails".
Inspired by the rose quartz, a mineral known to resonate out its love energy into its surrounding, these light pink nails will make your hands look super dreamy. They look so similar to the rose quartz mineral, it's almost like you're carrying around its good vibes everywhere you go, just without the added weight! Unfortunately, they look way too hard to make at home so go book an appointment with the best nail technician you know! You can take a look at some of the dreamy designs below. (h/t)

Not even the right base doesnt reflect the stone at all lime its supposed to!!
Why do so many nail techs make the fake nail so much smaller than the natural nail? It looks awkward.
No harm but her nails look like they're bleeding a bit. I can't unsee it.
They look broken
I had the same thought! ♥
Yes!! They look broken in multiple places! awful.
Exactly! Looks like some kind of deficiency
That is what quartz looks like... Don't you know your minerals?
Quartz comes in more colors than just pink, so while I like the idea I was kind of disappointed they were all more or less the same color.
I agree. I think they would look more like rock and less like a medical condition of they were a different color. They started to gross me out after a while.
I was thinking the same thing, "there's more quartz than just rose quartz"
Try @thenailengineer for grey phantom quartz new jade, opals and lots more nails that rock 😂
instagram stop before this there were marble lips and before that helix tattoos and before that mermaid toast and before that raibow cat undercut stop!
Dont like it? Dont do it.
Do it with colours that aren't so close to natural skin colour. The nails look broken. It hurts to watch.
Seems like making them literally any colour other than pink would remove the ambiguity about them being broken.
Quartz is 7 in Mohs scale (hardness) so girls/boys will be crying when they see their phone screens in scratches lol
They're not actually wearing quartz on their nails.
You aren't being serious right!? Please tell me that wasn't a serious comment 😳
I would love to see this done in lapis lazuli.
Some of these are pretty, but others look kind of like my busted, split ugly nails. If you want the look without going to the salon, try 10+ years of manual labour and you'll achieve the same effect ;)
Love this nail art on short nails
Some do look like marble, some more like quartz ...but some really look like white meat before you cook it or just boil white meat, maybe I am just hungry, who knows?
It's not a trend if only very skilled nail art people can do it
The effect is nice, but it doesn't really work in pink, imo. They should have gone for purple or other colours.
I acutally hate this idea. Eventually natural stones and minerals will be a thing of the past but at least we humans will have had them as FINGERNAILS. Just saying.
It's suppose to look like quartz which is a natural stone. Hence the broken imperfections. You people are so basic. These are dope.
MEH
If you want cool rock-type makeup, look at Marble Lips. So many more colours and designs and are just cooler.
that looks like exfoliation 😂. nothing there.
These look like nails I've had done that weren't correct and i had them do them over. 😒
Can I have that in Amethyst?
These're nice! I wonder how many designs they'll come up with involving this theme :)
this is one of the prettiest Ive seen as trends go - simply exquisite
