Woman Demands This Dog’s Name Be Changed Because That’s How She Wants To Call Her Newborn, Goes Ballistic After Owner Refuses

Most of us want unique names for our kids. Who doesn’t? It’s only natural. Unfortunately, some people have a very warped view of what ‘special’ is and think it has to be completely and utterly unique.
While some people wrack their brains thinking up eccentric-sounding names for their youngsters, others take a more jealous approach. One presumptuous pregnant lady demanded that a woman she knows change her dog’s name because she was planning on giving her (as of yet) unborn baby girl a very similar one. Wow. Unbelievable.

Jennay was astounded when a pregnant woman demanded that she change her dog’s name
A woman named Jennay went on Facebook to ask for advice on how to deal with such an unusual request.
“She says, ‘we want to name her Tillie, but it’s come to my attention you have a dog named Tilly. I’d really appreciate you changing your dog’s name. Obviously, you understand my daughter can’t have the same name as a dog’.
“I’m like WTF,” Jennay wrote on Facebook. According to her, there was no serious reason why she should change her dog’s name because the chances of the baby and the dog meeting together are tiny. Furthermore, Jennay explained how nobody was bound to notice the names were similar.
But the argument didn’t end there. The pregnant woman accused Jennay of not understanding what “a terrible position” she was putting her in because she doesn’t have any kids herself. She also stated that Jennay was “potentially ruining her unborn daughter’s life.” Talk about creating dramas out of thin air. Jennay refused to bow to pressure and turned to the Internet for advice.
People were outraged when they read the pregnant woman’s demands
According to thelabradorsite, the top 5 most popular female puppy names in 2019 are Bella, Molly or Mollie, Coco or Cocoa, Luna, and Lucy; this year, male puppers are mostly called Bailey, Charlie, Maax, Buddy and Cooper.
Meanwhile, Parents writes that in 2019, the most popular baby girl names are Isla, Olivia, Posie, Aurora, and Cora. The most admired baby boy names are Milo, Jasper, Asher, Atticus, and Silas. As you can see, there’s absolutely no overlap between popular puppy and kids’ names. At least this year.
Remember, naming your child and your pet is a big responsibility. You want the name to mean something profound, while at the same time avoiding monikers that are likely to cause teasing. Practical Parenting gives a list of the 10 weirdest names given for babies that should be avoided, such as Diesel, Armani, Chlamydia, Lettuce, Champagne, Sparkle, Magic, Bon-Quisha, Aquamarine-Melody, and Django-Wolf.

Gribouille is a French name and has to be pronounced like GREE / BOO / YE with a low pronunciation on the last part. It's very sweet for a cat.

Was thinking the same. I get all worked up about stupid shit and I have borderline personality disorder; I wouldn’t be surprised if this woman has it as well. But damn... I’ve only ever lashed out like that when I was blackout drunk.
Absolutely. Even low-level metal health problems can manifest in obsession with an inconsequential detail. When my wife was first diagnosed with depression she became obsessed and aggravated with the way a neighbour parked their car. They parked it perfectly reasonably, but it was just a thing she was constantly noticing out of the window.
Jonathon Smith, as someone with mental health issues, I can tell you that at least in my case, it’s so much easier to focus/obsess on what others are doing than it is to face the scariness within.
