I made "pools from above" using a drone to expose the true undiscovered beauty of the swimming pool from the air—making the unadorned compelling. The series has taken 18 months to finish and the most difficult part was composing seemingly boring images in a way that would pop off the screen using negative space, leading lines, and geometry.
