My Polymer Clay Figurines Are Fantasy-Themed And Showcase Beasts And Animals Out Of This World (30 Pics)
These figurines were made by me in the period from 2019 to the present day. I use several types of polymer clay, as well as acrylic paints, fabric, and beads.
Most of all I like hoofed animals, but I do not only them. Most of the creatures come from my fantasy world, and some of them were made according to the description of customers. Lately, I've been making monsters more often than dragons.

I've always had a deep fascination with fantastic animals and the idea of bringing them to life through my own creations. Recently, I discovered the perfect medium for my imagination: air-dry clay. It allows me to shape and mold my ideas into tangible forms.

When designing my creatures, I draw inspiration from the traits and characteristics of real animals. Hoofed animals, birds, and dogs are particularly captivating to me because of their incredible diversity. I'm especially drawn to the majestic horns that adorn many hoofed animals.
Lately, I've been exploring the world of customizing and painting model horses, honing my artistic skills along the way. However, my ultimate goal is to learn how to craft realistic fur toys. I want to master the art of creating intricate fur patterns and textures that bring these creatures to life.

In summary, air-dry clay has become the perfect tool for me to give shape to my love for fantastic animals. Through sketches and careful sculpting, I'm able to express my imagination and merge the wonders of the animal kingdom with the limitless possibilities of my own creativity. While I currently enjoy working on model horses, my eyes are set on the future, where I hope to delve into the world of lifelike fur toys and further expand my artistic abilities.

I absolutely love these! You're extremely talented and imaginative. They're just gorgeous.
I cannot do anything with clay THIS GOOD! you are awesome! Keep it up!
Fantastic creations... Incredible detail...just wondering how large are they?
Usually 10-20 cm in height. Thank you!

I can't speak for the artist but I know from my experience with polymer clay if you want to create works like this you need to start with wire frameworks on the inside. Bulking up the framework is an extra step and takes extra time and sometimes it's a little harder handling the clay. So this artist might have preferred to leave them thin. Or maybe they just like that look.
Load More Replies...They're so beautiful! (It was awesome seeing a couple of Okami models too - I love that game!).
This is my most favorite game :)
Load More Replies...They reminded me of Mexican Alebrijes, with a more muted color palette which also works. Very nice work indeed
Do you have any videos showing your process? I bet it would be so fun to watch.
I don't have a videos, but I have photos of the process.
Load More Replies...These are really good. Do you carve them a little after the clay is baked? Do you use forms for some of the shapes, or sculpt completely by hand?
There is only sculpting of air-dry clay. I don't use forms.
