Despite the knowledge that someone knows exactly where you live, there are people who seem to think that horrible, annoying or just deeply petty behavior is acceptable. Even stranger, in the 21st century, it has never been easier to document insufferable behavior, including legally permissible evidence like videos and pictures.
So despite these considerable risks to being a menace, these neighbors still chose to be a menace to those who lived near and around them, fortunately, in the age of the internet, we can all “enjoy” the examples people have shared. Despite the many variations of “be a good neighbor” that range from Jesus Christ to Mr. Rogers, people with antisocial tendencies don’t really see any issues with just being annoying to everyone around them. As a species, this trait should have been evolutionarily weeded out, as social creatures can’t really stand an outright hostile neighbor. Unfortunately, it still exists, propagated by bad families and disagreeable environments.
This is a vicious cycle, as antisocial behavior creates the environments that help it propagate, leaving everyone else worse off. While in some cases, antisocial behavior is partially genetic, more often than not, it is learned, through poor socialization, abuse and just existing in a particularly bad environment. It’s no wonder that in English, a neighborhood doesn’t just refer to an area, but the people in it.

In certain cases, it could be mandated by a judge, but that would require an actual crime to be committed. For better or worse, being very annoying isn’t a crime in most places. But, hypothetically, a person might decide to improve themselves, maybe after a specific incident or after an intervention from loved ones.

Let the air out of 2 tires. Don't damage the tires, just let out the air on the tires that are over the line. Can you have them towed since they are in your spot?
You need 3 large scissor jacks and 2 blocks of wood. Jack up the side in your space as high as one jack will go. Now slide the other jacks under, so they are stacked, using the wood blocks to make the jacks secure and the car secure to the jacks and crank like crazy. Move the single jack under further until it is just before half way and crank that sucker up and then repeat with the two jacks, At that point it should be a simple job of pushing the car onto its side

My neighbour has a very big car, and a motorcycle so he parks on top of the line because he wants to park both vehicles in the same spot. One day I got fed up and parked as near as possible, so that he couldn't open the driver's door. I don't usually use my car on weekdays. I think he got the hint because he has not parked on the line again.
Get a carjack and take out their brakes then roll their car away
Vehicle dollies from Harbor Freight. They are very inexpensive, yet strong enough so you can wheel a dead Ford F250 around in my driveway. Should be easy to wheel this Honda Element out of the parking garage and out into the street.
One of my colleagues parked so I couldn't get out at the end of the day and he was off-site. I fired up the forklift and moved it for him, shame I couldn't find a nice large space to put his car, but it just fitted between two tractors, which was good.

I'd have it towed in a heartbeat. I pulled into the bakery and was parked perfectly between the lines. As I'm waiting in line, some hugely fat woman comes storming in demanding that whoever owns the car needs to move it. I'm like that's my car & I'll be done in a minute or two. She flips out, yelling at me because she can't get into her car. Again, I say "I'll be done in a minute". Everyone can see that I'm totally legit parked, but she's still ranting. I finally looked at her and said, "Listen up lady. It's not my fault that I parked my car properly in that spot, but you're too f*cking fat to fit in between the cars. I will be done in a minute or I can just sit here for another hour or two. Your choice". She was practically spitting she was so mad, but people started chuckling (at her expense) and she quickly just got embarrassed. She waited outside for me to leave. B*tch.

This may make it sound impossible to help someone who exhibits antisocial behavior, but in reality, it does happen. Someone Came And Cut A Dozen Roses Off My Rose Bushes
I had tomato and pepper and cucumber plants sitting on my driveway once. I hadn't gotten all of them into containers yet. I come home the next day after dropping the kids at school to find some lady I don't know loading them into her car. When I asked what she was doing she said they were just sitting there. Said I wasn't using them, she needed them more. Ran to her car & left. I followed her while calling the cops. She denied taking them, but I had marked them for different areas. Took 3 days to get most of them back (& not in good condition). A month or so later I catch her stealing tomatoes off the plants! So yeah, some people think that they are entitled to your things.

At least half of these are not 'petty' neighbours. Rude, inconsiderate, some real jerks, and some people being unfairly called out for nothing. But definitely not 'petty'.
Oh, I have a good one! Next door neighbor started blasting his music about 2:00 am on a weeknight. I let it ride for about half an hour. Called the cops (as a 20-something female living alone I was not about to go up a dark exterior staircase to pound on a stranger’s door). Cop comes, tells ‘em to turn it down. They comply. Cop leaves. They turn the music up louder. I call again. Cop yells at them, drives around the corner, and waits. Music cranked. Cop goes up the stairs. Cop absolutely books it down the stairs yelling into his radio. Two more cop cars, an ambulance, a fire truck, and the fire marshal roll up with the lights/sirens. Elderly downstairs neighbor is escorted out in her nightie. Upstairs neighbors escorted out in cuffs. Turns out upstairs neighbors had a major gas leak and were peeing on the stove to try to stop the gas smell. Fun times.
When I was younger, my family was camping and there was a burn ban. The a-holes near us had a fire that they refused to turn off. Another guy (not from our family) went over with a pitcher full of water and goes, "do you need help putting that out?" And POURS IT ON THE FIRE
My neighbor is paranoid and delusional. He has for the entire time he's lived there (16 years) complained about the "loud and rumbling noise" at night. There are train tracks half a mile from our houses that have trains running every 2 hours, and that's what he's hearing. But he refuses to believe that. No, the trains are too far away to hear them, and it must be me! That of course, makes more sense to him. This is what he posted on Next Door. Working at a rock quarry on swing shift I would be startled out of my sleep at 4 AM every morning because of someone with their foot to the floor racing down our street. One time I saw that it was a small bread delivery van. I found out where he lived and left a very nice note on his windshield. I wrote the note on a notebook pad that one of the quarries vendors left. The letterhead was EXPLOSIVES TECHNOLOGIES. After that he came through nice and slow.
My upstairs neighbor called the cops on my yesterday afternoon bc her laundry bag wasn't on our shared front porch when she looked out her window (she gets laundry service), so she thought I stole it. The reason she thought it was me? She said it was there at 11am, but around 1pm it wasn't there, and she heard the front door open, then heard me laugh, so therefore, I had stolen it and was laughing at her. BTW, side note, she's a size 2 and I'm 300 lbs, size 22. She's absolutely psycho.
There’s a dude in my neighborhood who CONSTANTLY revs their motorcycle at the most inconvenient times, mostly in the middle of the night. There was also a person who just let their tiny shi tzu run around the neighborhood (which is like a really big farm area so everyone has a lot of cows and horses and things like that) They just let their dog run around until eventually we all stopped seeing it and realized it had died 😢
At least I seem to be a pretty good alien neighbor in this panda neighborhood!
Briefly: block of flats, horrendous brats in the one above - offensively loud music at all hours. We left after 8 months but before doing so, had a group of friends over. Everyone, out on the balcony and throw as much leftover food as you can onto the balcony above. And then sneak upstairs and drop some frozen prawns into the electric radiator outside their flat.
