30 Older People Share Why They Don’t Understand The Younger Generation

I know a couple whose son has ADHD, and they use this as an excuse for everything. They never bothered teaching him the difference between right and wrong. He has no manners, is a bully and is constantly violent towards others, and his parents blame other children and criticise them for never wanting to play with him or invite him to parties. They have raised an a$$hole and blame it on his condition, when it is a simple case of bad parenting.

I think this is about confirmation. Social media allows you to get validation quickly and easily.

I don't know about other places, but around here it seems to be Millennials that do it.

Coworker had natural nails were 3x longer than in this picture. Nails *curled at least once, maybe twice. Don't know how she functioned in an office, drove her car, or got dressed.

i cut my nails short regularly because it's impossible to play piano or violin with long nails

Even worse are the people with the real nails that are several inches/feet long. They look like they have onion rings taped to their fingers.

A lady with such nails works in my favourite knives shop. I still don't get how she is able to handle and demonstrate all the different types of folders and their locks, but she does it veeery efficiently.

For everybody talking trash.... I am a 42 year old woman. I have kept my nails done since I was 16 years old. I have always paid for it as a way to pamper myself. My natural nails have always been prone to breaking, even with calcium supplements. I also have short, stubby finger. I feel like have my nails makes them look less stumpy. I am an RN(in an office). I know how to care for my nails. I regularly use the products that bioluminescence to show germs and I'm clean as a whistle. A person naturally adapts to doing activities. I do not scratch myself when wiping or get poop caked under my nails! I fell off my bike recently and lost a nail. Prior to that, I've not lost a nail in YEARS. Extra long bedazzled nails or shall I say talons. Gals if it isn't for a very special occasion don't do it for every day wear. Ya they can be very creative and very expensive. If you can afford it but if you spend hundreds on your nails then can't buy yourself a cheeseburger when you are hungry your priorities are off.

Any nails that protrudes more than several mm past your fingers is impractical. It shows that you shun manual labor.

Take a perfectly good new barrel, use tools that every professional handiman has lying around (like a fully stocked workplace with every machine possible) and make an ugly chair with sharp edges, which you'll cover up with tonnes of hot glue....

And triggers. While I get it and have my own mini-traumas I work through, I recognize my triggers are no one’s responsibility but my own. If you feel you’ll be triggered by what happens in public or life in general, prepare yourself to deal with it. Just stop demanding others inhibit or repress anything about themselves simply because you find it triggering.

Depends on what you are watching. Some of them are discovering the music I discovered when I was a kid and watching their excitement is refreshing these days. The Charismatic Voice for instance is a professional opera singer and she reacts to metal but explains how the vocalists make the sounds. If you look at them as people going on a musical journey, it make more sense. Some have also interviewed bands and they ask more interesting questions that music journalists.

I just really hate tik tok.

I like these because so many things are ordered online now, it is nice to know EXACTLY what is going to be in the box, the size it is in comparison to normal hand/desk/table/whatever. It can be useful.
