I made all of these vessels and tea sets out of clay because I wanted to honor my love of nature in a way that was both beautiful and functional.
Due to my severe chronic illness, I did most of the sculpting from my bed. Since I just sculpt with my hands and a few simple tools, I'm a really tidy worker. Each set took me weeks to complete since I absolutely love including lots of detail. I wonder, what should I make next?
Rather than offering these for sale, I plan to live out one of my biggest dreams in life: to put some real-life treasure out into the world! Can you guess which sets I plan on hiding?

Amanita-inspired teacups and saucers for a fairy tea party

"Amanita Muscaria" is a poisonous mushroom. I know people who have been in trouble because of them. These cups are gorgeous and skillfully made, but their association with the toxicity of Amanita mushrooms terrifies me.

They are pretty but I wonder how it is holding on to that handle with the thick bee and delicate wings
I grew up in remote Idaho and spent my summers on a fire lookout many miles from civilization. It was in these idyllic natural settings that I developed a deep love of the natural world, as well as a healthy imagination. I pursued my creativity all the way to art school in Canada, where I dove into working with my hands to create unique tableware and artwork.

Currently, I live with my partner Cristin and adopted dog Grimm in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where we love to explore the landscapes that inspire me.
I do this work because I feel like the world needs it. We need to notice the magic and engage with the wonder. We need to see the beauty in nature so we feel compelled to protect it. And, importantly, we need to have fun.

These are unbelievably beautiful! I love them all, but the gorgeous little mushrooms, the bees, the oysters and the purple sea urchins jumped right out and grabbed me. Do you think you'll ever consider selling any of these? They're like little natural treasures. If you're hiding any, I wish I were in your part of the world to find them!

You mention you want to leave these in nature, for people to find. Just imagine stumbling across these in the wild, I'd start believing in fairies. :)

I am a very practical person and many of these pieces are not. But they ARE very attractive. So for my brain the sort of teacup(s) I'd enjoy using once in a while as a treat. Or for making a magical memory with a child / grandchild. You have a lot of talent. Also - whoever is doing your photography is also doing a very nice job. I don't have the art skills to make beauty like this but I enjoy seeing other people doing it. Good job! :)

I adore the rose petal plates! This is the sort of thing I wish those restaurants would use instead of like a whole shovel or something. Im all for interesting plating and this proves it can be done in such a cool but still reasonably.

These are gorgeous however I wonder the actual size of them some of the cups look like you could take a shot of tea with them ( I do however understand that they are very detailed and take a long time to make )
