Do you know why everybody loves to play a music trivia game? Because you can participate in it without being a musician or even having a good musical ear. Not everyone has musical talent or can show off their skills, but most people still love music in one form or another, and a music quiz can bring everyone together.

Music trivia goes way beyond just song trivia. Of course, release dates and albums, details in the lyrics, and dedications are all great things to ask your players, but pop quiz questions can also be about interesting facts from musicians’ lives, band histories, iconic performances, and so much more.

You can choose to make your game general or focus it around a specific genre, or even one artist if, for example, all the participants are big fans of said artist. No matter which option you choose, make sure you prepare lots of fun music trivia questions and answers (you shouldn’t ask questions that you don’t know the answers to) and make the game about having fun and spending good time with your friends.

To help you organize the quiz, we collected some trivia about music in the form of questions and answers. Hope you enjoy playing with your friends! Let us know in the comments if there was something new you learned from these questions.
