Nathalie Jomard is a lot of things. She's a French author and illustrator with a master's degree in digital communication and a second diploma in political science, but above all, she's a mom. After having kids, Nathalie started illustrating her everyday life of being a mother and her funny comics are so accurate, it's adorable.

You're Feeling Like A Balloon Constantly
"I have two children, a boy and a girl," Nathalie told Bored Panda. "I have been making cartoon drawings about their lives and motherhood on my blog Petit précis de Grumeautique since 2008."
No One Could Prepare You For The First Time Wearing A Bikini After Giving Birth
And suddenly I'm reminded of that movie about witches with Bruce Willis (with hair) and Meryl Streep.
"My daughter is a nerd. A very, very smart, quiet, and somewhat clumsy girl. She's always reading a book and she's also a scatterbrain just like her mother. My son is a nerd too but in a different way than his sister. He is also very active and turbulent. He can’t stay still. He’s always jumping and running around, and he talks a lot. Really, he can't stop talking. A real chatterbox. He's always inventing something, making funny drawings and talking about them for hours and hours." Nathalie said the two of them are also very curious about everything around them, which is a great inspiration for her parenting comics.
The First Time You Breastfeed Is Unforgettable
"Since I had kids, my life has definitely changed for the better although I'm more tired than I used to be. But with raising kids, who isn't? They are, nonetheless, the best gifts life can give you." Now keep on scrolling to check more of Nathalie's painfully relatable comics below!

Ugh, tell me about it. I went from an A-cup to an E-cup in nine months. Sports bras saved my sanity.
A to e? My mom only went from b-c with me. When she was pregnant with my sister she went up to a D. Always thought you went up one cup size per pregnancy. Well TIL I was wrong.

The Crisis Might Be Waiting At Any Corner
And that's why I have a spare of my sons favourite stuffed animal. When the first was loved to death and lost an eye he was very happy with the spare. I had the original repaired by a friend, who buffed up the body and made an eye patch for it. Then I told my boy the stuffed cat (called miauwtje) went missing for a whole week, but that it now returned as Pirate Miauwtje, and he had a lot of stories to tell. Now my boy tells me tales of the adventures Pirate Miauwtje went through.

I'm happy for you if pregnancy and children make you happy! But these comics just remind me what a nightmare motherhood would be for me and how happy I am to have the choice to not have children
Indeed! Motherhood is not for the squeamish. Kids are monsters!

I also think most of the people have a way too romantic view of having children. And women, who regret having children, should not stop talking about it. It's really not for everyone and society shouldn't pressure people and especially women to have children.
Load More Replies...These are nice and all, but how many times do we have to have "honest cartoons" about women/parenting ? It seems like every day now at Bored Panda.

Parents may like their kids, but they sure as f**k hate parenting!
Love the style. Tired of the topic, and that's a criticism of BP, not the artist.
I don’t know why so many awful-parenting-moments threads flood BP lately. Yes, raising children has a lot of frustrating moments. Guess what, so does having pets, having a significant other, going to work, having a hobby and almost everything else in the world. And all of these have their sweet moments as well. It’s life. (I am fine with threads like this per se, but it seems like lately there‘s so many threads about how children are embarrassing you or making a mess or being difficult, and there‘s just more to parenthood than that. And I don‘t even mean the heartwarming moments, I mean the simply funny moments that are a daily thing with children. Like your child watering a plant for the fifth time with genuine enthusiasm, like your child saying „Cheers!“ everytime anew they take a sip from their glass - because they heard you say it once. There‘s such an endless ressource of funny incidents when it comes to children, why focus on the hardships...)
Having pets is a cake walk compared to what these cartoons depict parenting to be like.

Load More Replies...I'm curious, why is wanting children positive and not wanting children negative? If either choice is made for one's personal happiness, then how can it be negative? Everyone's just saying they wouldn't want children, not that people who want children shouldn't have them, or that people who want children are stupid
