Like when someone like Reddit user CallofDutysVeryOwn asks a question “What Is The Most Disturbing Fact You Know?” It seems that other Reddit users like reading and finding out new things and they might sometimes stumble upon something that disturbs them as they created a huge thread that has over 17k answers. Bored Panda collected the most interesting ones for you to enjoy and not to be disturbed too much.

If you like the topic of creepy and disturbing facts, we have more articles for you to read. You can click here and it will take you to an article filled with disturbing facts from known history, and this one is even creepier with facts about people, nature, animals and history.

People In This Online Group Know Some Pretty Disturbing Facts About The World And Shared Them For Others To Learn Bacteria antibiotic resistance is on a whole other level. Even In the 13 years I’ve been in a medical microbiology lab; antibiotic resistant has really become rampant. It’s not going to stop either. The bacteria multiply and evolve so quickly that even the most effective “bombacillins” will become obsolete. we are going to reach a breaking point where even things like a simple cut or a sinus infection could become life threatening. Don’t take antibiotics like a Z-pak for a cold. It’s most likely viral and the antibiotics are just superfluous. If you are prescribed antibiotics finish them.

Everybody on the planet needs to understand this. Misuse of antibiotics has created a resistance that we now have several strains of bacteria that will KILL us, and we have no antidote. Never, ever take antibiotics unless they are prescribed. Do not request or demand them if you have a virus, because they only work with bacterial infection, not viral. Listen to your doctors. Always finish the course. Taking them when you don't need them, or stopping too early is what causes resistance in humans, to the point where most antibiotics don't work anymore. It's also allowing bacteria to develop that are resistant to all our antibiotics. This situation has the potential to make Covid look like playtime.

It's not a matter of spacetime warping but rather of perception. When you are young, your experiences are much more limited than when you are old. 1 day of your life is a significantly longer amount of time relative to how long you've been alive at age 6 than it is at age 16, and far longer than at age 36. Thus it feels far longer to you. The actual amount of time that passes is the same as ever, but your brain does not process it like that.

Best way I’ve heard it is that when we are a year old, one year is 100% of our lives. At two, it’s already down to 50% of our lives. So the older we get the shorter a year is in comparison to those we’ve already lived. It is depressing.

receive from others, and you will have to live with this CONSTANT torture on your soul, and your very BEINGl open up to you, the realm of the dead, evil and paranormal to the FULLEST EXTENT? After you die, do you fear that you will spend the rest of time, watching EVERYONE and EVERYTHING, eventually die, sometimes in the most HORRIFIC and PAINFUL ways that you, or anyone, could EVER possibly IMAGINE? Do you fear that after you die, you will end up seeing SO MUCH fear, heartbreak, suffering, evil, and just downright HORRIFIC and PAINFUL things that people INFLICT on, and RECEIVE from others, and you will have to live with that, until the END OF EXISTENCE!!!!!

Do you fear death? Do you fear death itself? Or do you fear your METHOD of death? Do you fear that there is an afterlife? Do you fear that there is NO afterlife? Do you fear that after you die, there is just complete, all consuming NOTHINGNESS, until the literal end of time? Do you fear that what comes after you die, is something that is based on your most deepest, darkest, and most DEPRAVED FEARS and NIGHTMARES that no one could ever, ever, EVER possibly imagine?

Do you fear that after you die, you are not there AT ALL and NEVER will be again? Do you fear the very real possibility that after you die, you will NEVER feel love, happiness, joy, excitement, or ANY good emotion, EVER AGAIN! Do you fear that your God will reject you after you die and will send you to HELL? Do you fear that you have NOT been a good enough person in your life, so God will REFUSE to send you to heaven? Do you fear that you will be rejected by God, because you used to be an EVIL person, until you completely changed for the BETTER?

It's because of life, really. When you're 5, a year is 20% of all the time you've known! At 20, it's now 5% of all the time you know. You get to 50, and even though a day may drag by, a year is over in a blink - if you can even remember what you did a year ago...

Every year you live becomes a smaller fraction of the number of years you lived. As you grow older, the length of a year seems shorter because they are a smaller percentage of your life.

This is simple to explain. When you are younger a minute or an hour of your life is a much larger fraction of your life than it is when you get older. Another way to put it, by the time you are 60 a year is 1/60th of your life as opposed to when you are 12 it is only 1/12th of your life. So a year is a much smaller segment of your life as you get older thus it seems to move faster.
