If you were scolded at least once by your momma for playing with food, don't feel bad anymore because playing with food certainly pays off. This 26-year-old pastry chef from Italy, Matteo Stucchi, always believed that in a dessert, the decoration is as important as the taste. Following his Instagram nickname, his little creations remind the world of the famous book 'Gulliver's Travels'. Just as Gulliver encountered the tiny Lilliputians, Stucchi's tiny worlds are also filled with miniature figurines, all arranged to create these fascinating mini-scenes. Scroll down to discover them!

Lol I know I dont know why the title called these boring at all?!
Load More Replies...Quite well done, but somehow I just can't get my head around blue icing.
It usually takes 2 to 4 hours to create the beauty you see in Stucchi's photos. Sometimes he draws inspiration from the sweets themselves, and sometimes he says he is "inspired by their particular shape or from images seen on social networks, other times it is my little characters who give me the idea based on their position".
And I was just eating pistachios...wish I’d had a cheesecake under them!
The most rewarding part for the pastry chef is "to see the end result of my work although I must say that tasting while preparing, I do not mind". He offered some kind advice for novice sweet-tooths out there. "Never surrender," he said. "It happens sometimes that things don’t go well at the first attempt, then you just have to roll up your sleeves and start over again without giving up and sooner or later, you succeed."
Why didn't they show a photo of the finished cake, instead of ot being constructed :/
This is the finished cake. It's showing a construction site
Load More Replies...Rather than putting it in a round plate, put it on a tray or platter—some dish that may not have been brought forth with cake in mind, but is large enough to accommodate the mechanical parts.
Load More Replies...Imagine how satisfying it must be to see it all crumble as you put your hand in the soft area of it
Put it on the little ironing board before it’s completely cooled.
Load More Replies...I sure hope so because otherwise it’s spun glass.
Load More Replies...For a minute there, I thought it was nude beaches, then I put my glasses on.
It cleared up the confusion, sure—but is it now better or worse than what you thought?
Load More Replies...You're probably right, but just because they wouldn't appreciate it doesn't mean the rest of the world wouldn't. Life doesn't stop due to 1 place having a tragedy, I promise no one is thinking, nor worried, that ppl in the Bahamas are going to be upset by this particular cake ... and that unfortunately is just the reality
Load More Replies...Maybe it’s hanging with very thin nylon filament?
Load More Replies...Idk why but this in some way reminds me of stranger things when they were in the upside down
Mmmmm ... there's nothing like wild raspberries, warm from the sun, to trigger a perfect chain-reaction of summer delight in your taste buds!
it's rainin strawberries, from outta da sky, strawberries, no need to ask why
How did they get the strawberry to look suspended in mid-air?
Well duh. Everybody knows you can’t make a layered sponge cake without a miniature crane. 😂
Load More Replies...Still waiting for a proper "fairy cake" with hands, feet, heads and wings sticking out of it
Right now, I am imagining being out in a garden raking fall leaves, with the smell of freshly baked cookies and chocolate raising in wafts with every move I make with the rake. Enjoyable.
Is the steam/smoke a modified marshmallow or a strung-out cotton ball?
Um. It looks like they're cleaning up and wading in toxic waste. That doesn't spell delicious to me....

I once went to Sydney and rode on a ride like that called the Volare. It wasn't made of doughnuts, though.
What’s at the end of the rainbow? A pot of gold....and a giant cake
It’s a meringue that’s shoved onto the jellied rainbow.
Load More Replies...unripe strawberries are tasteless and disgusting. I love the rest of it! it looks yummy
He is killing me! Merengue, raspberries, a few mint leaves and a good sprinkling of humorous creativity and artful execution. What else does one want?
now you can say you climbed a mountain while all you did was eat this cake
quilted cheescake... try youtube channel “fatto in casa da benedetta”
Load More Replies...Ill listen to that music any day of the week if it was dark chocolate lol
boy, i would love to eat that tree, and the cake is red velvet too, so this one is awesome
Agreed. There is nothing wrong with any portion of this cake.
Load More Replies...Oh yes, a lot of cookie monsters are indeed willing to jump through burning hoops to get one.
Snow White looks like she doesn't have money in her pockets to pay the lady for the apple
I think that’s a Magistrate or some official from her “town”
Load More Replies...Again, the tiny people put such effort into making these lovely cakes for us giants.
My technical side wants to point out the grievous error, my cake-loving side is just telling me to eat it...
Lovely! I wonder if the animals were tempted to nibble on the ark walls if they gor hungry?
In the town where I was born, lived a ma-a-an, who sailed to sea... ♫♪♪ and he told us of his life, in the la-a-and, of croissants! ♫♪♪ we all live in a yellow croissant, yellow croissant, yellow croissant ♫♪♪
Eva, you get a lot of people singing out loud!
Load More Replies...Is..is that a block of chocolate at the end of the fishing rod/crane thing?
First possibility, fishing line or similarly low visibility line. Second possibility, a stick that's straight behind the ball so it's no visible. Third possibility, utilizing perspective in that it's affixed directly to the wall so relative to the cake it looks smaller than it actually is. Fourth possibility, Photoshop. There are most likely more but these are the ones that spring to mind.
Load More Replies...That looks so delicious! Unless it's tiramisu, then it's not delicious looking. Hate tiramisu.
Better watch out, it may look real but it is a tourist trap
would have worked better if it was cookie dough in the jar, since the cookies as drops in the jar doesn't make sense.
I love the thought of these tiny people making such a huge effort to construct these delicious cakes for us giants.
From the manual: "The exact positioning of the last piece is crucial and the maneuver may only be attempted in the presence of a fully trained professional."
My grandfather had a muffin tree in his backyard; we were never allowed to talk about it when he was alive.
