One time in 4th grade we had this huge test the next day, and later that next day the teachers forgot and i was relieved and then this one kid I knew just had to remind the teacher and to sum it up almost choked that kid because I didn't study and you're not supposed to remind teachers about that.
Dang it! I'm usually the question asker! To be fair, I try to approach after dismissal for a personal conversation.

I'm 29, and I have never been to Ikea. Am I really missing out? I feel like I am, and that I should take a look at the things that they have :D
In my case: 1. Excitement - Yay! I love karaoke!; 2. Anxiety - Wait... What if they all wanna sing just ballads?!; 3. Just going with it - Whatever... They may sing funeral music as much as they like, me, I'm gonna fulfil my task (even if I end up being the only clown amongst the "oh, so wonderful voices"); 4. Conclusion - Wow! We should do it more often / Okay, never gonna go to karaoke with THIS crew again...
If you work with something advanced or specialized though it can be really hard to explain what you do to ppl outside of the business.
