Kitten And Owlet Become Best Friends And Nap Buddies

Fuku the owlet and Marimo the kitten are an adorable pair of best friends that love to hang out, play together and nap at their home in Hukulou coffee shop in Osaka, Japan. The cafe occasionally gets other owl visitors as well, and it also sells fun owl-themed crafts and good, but it looks like these two are the stars of the show.
Owl cafes are becoming more and more popular in Japan and around the world – we’ve written about other cafes and bars in Tokyo and London as well. If you go to an owl cafe, please be sure that they’ve done everything they can to ensure the owls’ comfort and safety before giving them your business!

That's hardly possible considering how many monstrous people there are in the world!
Its impossible if we believe its impossible. If we decide all things are possible them become so.
Except of course the reason they aren't fighting (and eating each other) is that humans have built a sprawling dictatorial socialist government (that is humans and the laws we have for animals) which feeds and houses them. So I guess my point is that until we do that, or are at least willing to, for humans I don't see how we are going to get anything like this peace to happen.

I'm not sure what I think!! While undeniably cute, why keep an owl in captivity? They are not budgies or canaries. Surely they should be allowed to live where they were meant to live, in freedom.

It's such an amazing thing!!! It's so troubling that two animals, God's creations that are otherwise predator, and prey can be so oblivious to hate. We as humans, God's creations can put forth so much of that hate, and for such stupidity. We should learn from them!!!

After seeing the photos, I thought of was the poem "the owl and the pussycat" by Edward Lehr. It is sweet to see these beautiful creatures enjoying each other's company.

I don't get why this is cool? Have these people taken the owl in because she is injured? She's tied up to a box...The owl isn't lonely, she's probably unhappy not being free. Sorry, but there is nothing natural or cool about a bond between a predator and pray..!
the owl is tethered so it is captive - I do not like anything to be captive!
I'm with bluecurrant. We should all get along. But since we don't, let's just be thankful for what we have.

Are you kidding? Cafés that display nocturnal wild creatures for... what? So their patrons have something to look at, or tap on the glass display? I find that neither touching nor cute, but just incredibly cruel. Dear Bored Panda editors, even with your make-sure-everything's-peachy disclaimer, it's quite irresponsible to present this case of animal cruelty under the framing of "look how cute"!
