Dad Turns His 6-Year-Old Son’s Drawings Into Reality And The Results Are Both Creepy And Hilarious (31 Pics)

Have you ever wondered why do kids love to draw so much? Well, the most probable answer is, that since little kids do not have their speech skills developed so well, the drawings take a form of expressing themselves. It also has to do with learning about the surrounding world through shapes and colors. Or maybe children just really like to have their cool pictures put up on the fridge. Now, as with every skill, practice makes perfect, and the first creations often aren't the most realistic drawings at all.
Dom is six and he, as most of the kids, likes to draw. He even has his own Instagram account where he puts all his favorite drawing ideas turned into little masterpieces. But that's not the end of the story, because once he's finished with his art, his dad then recreates their real-world counterparts with a dose of digital magic and a little bit of humor.
From lions, lemurs and zebras to boats, bikes and bizarre dinosaur robots, Dom and his dad have created an adorable alternate universe of photoshopped pictures filled with the types of things we couldn't even dream of. Most of the kids' drawings turn out to be adorable, while others, well, depicts some pretty creepy creatures.

This post i more hilarious than I expected :-D I love the idea, I believe it was fun for both of you. You will pick those up when he grows old and you will be laughing as much as you do now. Great memories. Thanks I could laugh with you, I had really long day and this cheered me up :-)
This is pretty cool. Just wish you had shown the pics as the "before" drawing first, then the after.
Agree
Beat be to it.
Actually, I think children have more abstraction and modelling skills than we often admit. You can take neither of them as they are, as the father does (and what is quite entertaining), but as abstractions from reality they do a neat job.
Shame the children aren't making abstractions however- they just lack the hand to eye co-ordination or fine motor skills to draw more accurately. Now go lay down and leave the arm-chair psychology to someone else, cheers.
What would Lego playin actually be if not abstracting from reality? And I am not trying to be a hobby-psyhcologist...
Who said anything about lego? I had Lego when I was young, built plenty of crazy models funnily enough- nower days I still build models and crazy contraptions, with much more precision and mechanical knowledge than I ever had as a child. Our imaginations grow as we get older- children just lack the motor skills or mechanical knowledge to build things that don't look bizarre to adults...
Everything he draws seems to be smiling and that's so nice to see. I kind of love the white rabbit to be honest, it's freaky and fascinating.
