I Photograph Children Enjoying Careless Summers Spent Without Technology
I love the sun, the water, the contact with nature, especially in the summer. This time it reminds me of a carefree childhood when we absorbed the moment when we were not worried about our adult life.
For years I have been happy watching through the lens of children enjoying their vacation with their ability to plunge in everything they do and forget about everything else, even about my lens.
“Just summer!” is my next holiday story to witch I will be coming back with my son.
Summer is quickly over and the bliss of these moments is what we miss for the rest of our lives...

Either completely missing the point of this post or attempting awful, groan inducing humor.
Load More Replies...It looks a bit like a kid is drowning in a lake, poking out the peace sign!🙄
When you are trying to stay on the bottom as long as possible but you can't...
...you get some rocks and a hose and you can take acid and stay down there for hours :) (i was finishing your sentence lol)
Load More Replies...This is cute, but please cover your kid. Some sicko could use this in a not-so-cute way.
Zori, its almost certainly a palmetto, which is a big thing in the South from lower North Carolina, down to Florida, and around to Texas. The word palmetto means "a diminutive, or small palm". You know, "Palm - etto", which is from the Latin "ittum".

Your captions add absolutely no laughter or amusement to any of these posts. Don't quit your day job.
Load More Replies...Cover your kid up or hippity hoppity hop skip and jump out of my life. This is not cool :(
This platform seems great for bird-watching and a perfect place to wait for some other interesting animals to show up.
That's how my feet look like while I'm on holiday. There are too many broken glass bottles in the city though.
In search for leeches, dragonfly larvae and other fascinating water beasts. So relatable, I love this picture.
but all the "popular' people at my school just take picture of food and snapchat for like the one thousandth time in the summer :(
Load More Replies...Oh, for a moment I thought it was an old-type lavatory door. I do hope it's actually a tree house or barn door.
Why wouldn't it be a lavatory door, maybe it is, so what?
Load More Replies...That game looks fun... But please, can anyone explain it? I've never seen something like that before.
It was PC games Heroes ;)
Load More Replies...It seems more than pointless to add the "without technology" bit at the end. It's a little extreme for me imo. And here come the downvotes.
With the pictures they took on their digital camera, adding a black & white filter with a program or app on their digital camera.
Load More Replies...Wish I spent my holidays in the country side. I would really not need technologies then! I'd explore the woods, the open lands, the rocks and the rivers and the lakes, I'd build tree houses, play hide and seek, look for small animals... I can imagine every bit of a dream life I don't have right now. Those children are so lucky and anyone who says different is boring as hell.

They who have spent a part of their lives enjoying the outdoors will be inclined to care for its wellness. They would ensure that their children would enjoy the same. It is the hidden message but will soon be realized.
How my children spent each summer from may-sept at the lake. We have a little boathouse made into a cabin, fits bunks beds and table and chairs. No hydro or water but my memories of my 3 out there are the best moments of my life. Now my grandchildren go out as much as they can, not as often as we did but still making memories. My older children only bring a phone now for safety now and never use it.
