The over easy egg looks more over-well which means it's cooked in butter or oil, flipped and cooked through, over medium is the same but a slightly runny yolk, over easy should be flipped but a soft, runny yolk. Fried on its own isn't really a thing but there is over-hard which is a popped yolk, cooked through and flipped, not to be confused with scrambled... Then there is basted which cooked just like over easy but using water instead of oil or butter. Also the American omelette is overcooked. Waitress knowledge never leaves you...
