    I've always used a hairdryer to heat the sticker. Then you can scrape it off with literally anything. amy weapon of choise is usually an old credit card.

    Yes, or just use a very low setting, with care, on your microwave. Defrosting in hot water is really not very safe for many foods anyway.

    We in Finland don't have to either, but I still do, especially in this heat. But usually they survive the same time in and out of fridge. One thing I can't understand though is why you need to buy an egg container. Maybe if you have your own chickens, but doesn't most of the people just buy them? Ours eggs in stores come in handy cardboard containers, and keeping them there is just so much easier than transferring them into some fancy dispencer.

    Never put eggs in the fridge. First they will not cook right, and eggs are porous so they will absorb all the other stuff in there

    I have something similar (a Crimpit). It is meant for 'thins' style bread, so no waste, but if I use normal bread I just make croutons out of the offcuts.

    Instead of this, I recommend about 80cm of garden hose filled with lead shot and tied off at the ends. 2 or 3 good whacks with this homemade tool and your kids will be happy to eat bread crust. :)
