While taste is subjective, and what one person might think looks amazing for another is a disaster, we, as humanity, can agree that some things are just not too pleasant to look at. Whether it's due to poor craftsmanship, bad ideas, or being bad on purpose, the tattoos shared on a Facebook page called 'Ink Shaming — All Bad Tattoos' are really tough to look at.
So no matter if you are an expert in tattooing or wondering if you should get your first ink yet, we are sure you will have some opinions about the artwork done by the artists down below. These bad tattoos are a great reminder that even though we celebrate the freedom of self-expression, it is always worthwhile to strive for mastery. A tattoo, after all, is more than just ink on the skin; it is a symbol or a statement, so why not have it done in a way that makes you proud?
Bored Panda reached out to Removery, a laser tattoo removal service located in the United States, Canada, and Australia, to learn about the process of removing unwanted tattoos and what you should know beforehand. Wow … just, … wow. I have SO many questions! I get the “bananas for scale” concept, but why do they look like pants that have been pulled down, and WHY do the bananas have PAWS?!?! Next, anatomically, why did she EAT four kittens? (Check the anatomy.) While we’re going there, what is WRONG with the bottom left kitten? Seriously, it looks more DEMON than kitten, and it has NO FACE! I’m guessing the shriveled, thumb-sized upper left organ is the … heart? I know what the anatomy of a female looks like and after seeing this woman's tat that's not what came to my mind. What came to my mind was wtf?! This is actually correct. The reversed compass rose may cause some initial confusion, but in use it is obvious why the compass rose must have East and West reversed. When you are sighting directly North, the compass needle will point to North. If you turn 90 degrees to your left, you will be sighting due West, but the compass needle rotated 90 degrees to the right, which reads West on a properly reversed compass rose. I have an E/W reversed compass that I use for trail surveys.

So true. You see this a lot in amateur art but a drawing can be tucked in the closet. I saw several example of this at our local fair last week. Not being rude to the artists - they were all better than me. But it was varying ages and skill levels and so you had the range - a few that almost looked like photographs and several that were just 'off'. Some waaayyy off. Because do your best / slowly improve and get better and all that. I'm rather in awe of those people in the world that can make a "photograph" with a pencil. But this isn't that. :)

When getting a portrait tattoo...always ask the artist to show you another that they have done. Always. Portraits are hard to do and you definitely want an artist that will do it justice!
Removing a tattoo can be a complex process, especially when dealing with tattoos that were poorly executed. We asked Carmen to explain the different factors that contribute to a tattoo being considered “bad” and how these factors might impact the removal procedure. She shared: “Tattoos don’t come off the same way they go on, and there’s no standard way to apply a tattoo. The tattooer's technique determines the overall quality of the tattoo as well as how easy or difficult it is to remove a tattoo. Every mistake made while tattooing becomes evident as the tattoo is removed. An uneven hand, a pause in a corner, or a heavy hand resulting in scarring are all things that can impact the tattoo removal process.”

We also asked Carmen to provide examples of particularly challenging bad tattoo removal cases they worked on.
“The majority of tattoos can be completely removed, we have over one million successful treatments to prove it! As with any medical procedure, we have encountered cases where the tattoo application was not as conducive to successful removal. For instance, tattoos applied too deeply or with excessive ink can present challenges. The best results are achieved when both the client and our technician are committed to the process. Clients who maintain a healthy lifestyle, including drinking lots of water and avoiding smoking, often experience more successful outcomes.
Some of the most challenging tattoos to remove are cover-ups or blackout tattoos. In these cases, the fading may be slower due to the increased ink density of having two tattoos (or more) stacked on top of each other. Tribal tattoos can often be more difficult to remove because of this, but not impossible,” shared Carmen Vanderheiden Brodie, VP of Clinical Operations at Removery.

There are ways to make it less bad if you wake up with something like this. It’s faint already. Any moisturiser with petroleum or paraffin in, such as Vaseline or Vitamin E cream will make the tattoo fade. The tattoo artist usually tells you to avoid using them during the healing process.

First off this looks hideous imo and it also pìsses me off to no end. I understand that military spouses usually have to endure more than civilian spouses but this does not mean you served your country or earned your SO rank. It can be difficult at times while your SO is deployed, you spend a lot time apart and for ones with kids you're a single parent while they're away. But you should know that this will be a part of your life when you decided to marry someone in the military. It's always the military wives that think they're entitled to be treated and addressed as the same way their husband's are. I am a woman who served in the US Marine Corps and became good friends with some of the wives of my brothers I served with but we would always have stories at our bimonthly/monthly get together about the not so lovely wives we would encounter. Not going to get into all here unless you want to know just ask but these wives didn't earn shìt their SO did. Period!

That's halfway german. And misses a lettter - "He is pissen" is an excuse given when somebody else explains why the person you're expecting to meet is off for a few minutes, "pissen" being a verb that means peeing. So, whoever you're to meet, that dude is in the bathroom, and it seems like this happened often.
