While we all need a fair share of news to keep up to date with the world around us, the truth is, we don’t always benefit from that emotionally. Quite often the opposite happens. What we read or watch or hear may upset us, leaving us anxious and irritated for the rest of the day.
Sometimes it’s the sheer facts that trigger us negatively, like Russia’s invasion of Ukraine or the dreadful plastic pollution in the oceans. And other times, it’s not the facts but rather the presentation of how one thing or another is told to us.
The headlines, for example, are notorious for inflating and misrepresenting things and we always have to take them with a pinch of salt. And even if we do, they may still frustrate us, as they did to people on the Trashy community on Reddit. Below we wrapped up the headlines that, according to people, have maddened them the most.

Not all guide dogs are labs anyway. I've known a German Shepherd and a melanois that were guide dogs.
This is a uk post and actually any and all dogs are allowed on public transport. Not just service dogs.
First, labradors can be honey colored or black colored. Second, lots of services dog are Labrador, but not all of them. Third, WT actual F?
To be fair, at the time the other passenger confronted Megan the driver could have been busy concentrating on driving safely. (I've tried looking at some of the articles but in the ones 've seen there is no mention of the bus driver being aware of/responding to the idiotic passenger.)

A friend who is blind, her dog is named Kenya ... and she's a black lab.

The above story is not complete. It sounds as if the “unnamed woman” was another passenger (“Karen”), not the bus driver and Megan did not have to get off the bus. “Karen should have been evicted from the bus by the driver. But — the story is not complete.

The driver should have kicked the woman off and the woman with the Guide Dog gets to stay. I probably end up getting kicked off too because I’d really start verbally harassing her for what she did.
This is in the UK where any dog is allowed on the bus (so long as its on a lead) anyway. wtf was this womans problem?
I'm on the waiting list for a hearing assistance dog and because assistance dogs in the U.K. aren't as much as a thing like in America (much stricter laws) people don't see them as often and I'm worried I'll come across rubbish like this too. Especially when most of the puppies I see being trained up are beautiful dogs like in the photo! Still won't stop me getting one, already been told that most arenas in the U.K. have a dedicated staff member for each show in an office away from the noise of the show, that'll look after assistance dogs as obviously it's too loud for their sensitive ears, but you need the dog before and after the show- especially if travelling far and staying over for the show. So that's already one good thing I've found out

How anyone can supoort the racist republicans is beyond my comprehension. They are just like Hitler's followers from the 1930s. Conversely, I hate people who claim their pet is a "service" dog. Service animals go through a rigorous 22-24 month training process. And no - there is NO SUCH THING as an emotional support animal. All pets are "emotional support" animals. Quite frankly, I you can't go to the grocery store by yourself, you have no business even leaving the house. This is for the jacka$$ at Home Depot who insisted his German Shepherd was a service animal. Oh, really? The one taking a sh*t on aisle 12? Or the entitled Karen at the grocery store with her Pug. Yeah, the one that just lifted it's leg and p*ssed all over the potted plants? Every registered/certified service animal will be wearing a vest and will NOT riding around in your purse.

When my son was 3, he managed with one swing of his arm to knock multiple bottles of lotion off a low shelf causing one to crack open and spill lotion all over. I was very much watching my kid. He wasn’t goofing off. Genuine accident. We (he helped, kinda) put the non-broken ones away and we went up to costumer service to pay for the broken lotion. It was a weird conversation. Me: My son broke this lotion. I think I’m supposed to pay for it. Employee: Do you want the lotion? M: No. E: Then you don’t have to pay for it. I told him which aisle so they could clean it up and we continued shopping. You are responsible for your kids and their actions and mistakes. Our family phrase is: Look with your eyes, not your hands. when we’re in public, at stores, etc. I didn’t understand why we didn’t pay for the lotion. Felt guilty. I very much don’t understand this headline, but I also don’t know what I’d do if my son broke something I couldn’t afford to pay for.
