If you clicked on this post based on the title, we are going to assume you are a cat person, and that you’ve come to the right place! With that being said, today we’d love to show the new illustrations of a Hungarian artist called Rita Vigovszky. Rita’s work mostly features her cats, which are one of the most popular pets. In times when a lot of people find comfort in pets and also connect with them on a deeper level, the artist uses her talent to explore the relationship between cats and their owners.

Rita illustrates her life with a cat, and perhaps some of these illustrations might remind you of familiar situations with your own pets. With that being said, if you’d love to see more of Vigovszky’s work on Bored Panda, then make sure to click here for part 1 of the illustrations!

Bored Panda reached out to the author of the comics, first, we asked about how the artist started making comics, and how the whole thing came about.

"I've always enjoyed these types of short webcomics, and unconsciously started to make my own ones way before I even started to share them with the public. They are a fun way to share your feelings with the world, and see how people find these feelings relatable."

We were also wondering what inspires Rita to make comics overall.

"Miyu (Rita's cat) has been and will be my muse, but I like to take inspiration from everywhere, from my own life principally, obviously, but I always try to make mental sketches and look for ideas for new comics. I have a lot of ideas I have yet to make, I just need more time for them!"

With all of that being said, we were wondering whether the artist was always making comics or if it was just something she started doing recently, and here's what she told us.

"Drawing has always been very important in my life, even since I was a little girl, and I started experimenting with digital drawings during my teenage years, but I had never thought until finishing college that making illlustration could be my career one day."

A lot of people enjoy the work Rita puts out, so we were curious about what it was like to have such a motivating audience.

"It's so, so rewarding. Especially when you feel like the world is burning with all of these horrible events going around, seeing a comment where someone says my comic made them laugh or I get a heartfelt feedback for one of my commissioned illustrations - that's what keeps you going. It's just a very nice feeling to know you might make someone's day a little bit better."

Lastly, we decided to let the artist share her additional thoughts with all of you Pandas.

"I'm constantly trying to improve my artistic skills and experimenting with new techniques, it's a never-ending learning curve and I am never satisfied with myself. I'm trying to make my art more niche, because I tend to want to try out everything but I also want to give my followers what they expect of me and what I really enjoy doing too - cats, even more cats, and lighthearted, relatable comics."

It's called Aspirational advertising. "This could be you on your period if you buy our shjt!"

If you actually can have your period and act like they do in the commercials for pads/tampons, I hate you. .> )

I can act like that for work, (wait tables), but it's only an act. Inside it's like 'my ovaries are trying to kill me, I'm bloated, tired busy, and a 10 top of children came in. If any of these motherf***ers wants a milkshake I will unleash a fury like that of 1000 crashing waves!!' Or I'll just smile, say of course, and cry in the bathroom haha.

And the pain (for some of us, like me)!!! 😭 Debilitating. The mental and physical exhaustion plus the pain completely screw about 3-4 days/month. And yes, I still have to go to work too. :(

I feel ya. I've got mine now and I'm a masonry laborer. I had to drag brick, block, and buckets of mortar up under the crawl space of a house today so the masons could build some piers up under there. All that while I'm dealing with major cramps but we got the job done. So yay!😓

How did this comic know I am dealing with this right now? All she's missing is a pillow and to be curled into a tight ball.

Every Tampon commercial used to be the woman running on the beach. Now Viagra commercials are older man walking on the beach. But smiling

My cat likes on my abdomen when I have menstrual cramps. She knows that that's where it hurts.

The tennis playing ones are ridiculous. I'm like "tampax, I wouldn't even do that on the days I feel my best."

Where are the hairs that are spread all over the clothes - that every cat owner wears as an accessory?

Yes. We chronically have noseprints on the windows. We have 3 cats and a dog. Occupational hazard for pet owners.
