I wanted to travel to Cuba and wished to discover the effect of communism on people.
Walking at random in the streets of La Habana, I met unique people which I chose to photograph with a cinematic feel as this city seems out of this world.

It’s heartbreaking to see those amazing buildings go into ruin. The architecture designed by the same artists who envisioned landmarks of New York, now run-down and decrepit. I was told by a Havana man that the only freedom there is is the economic freedom. I fully understand him. I like the pictures, both the people and the buildings tell the same story.
