Hi! My name is Pawel Kania, I like to create interesting stuff.
For many years I have been thinking of creating my own playing cards. Last year when pandemic started I decided it’s a perfect time to create something special.
“Nocturna” is a completely custom playing cards deck and every element is entirely designed by me. My goal was to create the most beautiful classic cards I am able to. In which Kings will be mighty and proud, Knights (Jacks) powerful, and Queens extraordinary and mysterious. While creating, the idea came to me to include romance and betrayal threads to spice up the cards. Therefore, Queens have elements that suggest their hatred for the King or love for a Knight. For example, the Queen of Spades holds a cup of poison in her hands, and the King of Spades is about to drink from the same cup. There are many other exciting twists and turns, but you will have to play with these cards to discover them all.
