I Took Pictures Of Newborn Babies At The Hospital And Their Homes, Here Are 27 Of My Favorite Ones
My name is Stephanie Bennett and I am a professional photographer specializing in newborn, child, family, and senior photography.
Capturing fresh 48 photography sessions and lifestyle newborn sessions in families' homes is one of my favorite types of sessions. I love the newness of the baby, the excitement of family members, those little baby features, and the first few days as their family grows.
Here are some of my favorite images from these photography sessions.

Are you even a big brother or sister if you haven't poked a finger in the new babies nose, mouth or eyes? Very cute photo!
My style is simple and classic. I keep my props very minimal and use simple setups in the studio. I like to use colors that are neutrals, earth tones, and a few pastels mixed in. I want personalities and family connections to be the focus of the photographs. Not props and bright colors.
I also am a mom to two little ones. A daughter that is too smart for her own good, and a son that is beyond stubborn. Like all parents, I love talking about my kiddos. It also means that I am well versed in all things like Disney, PBS, and Marvel comics, and can always find something to talk about with little ones.
There’s a cutie with attitude ‼️ This one’s ready to take on the world 🌎🌎
I have been in business since 2011. I specialize in newborn photography and have photographed over 300 newborns. I also love photographing children, pregnant moms, and families. I have a studio in Northfield that is filled with a ridiculous amount of newborn props – really, it is ridiculous.
That baby looks like a 47 year old stock exchanger with student loan debt.
Hello, little Benjamin. Your mother, Ms. Button is excited to welcome you to the world!
Lovely picture but hate seeing parents kiss their kids on the lips. Those kisses should be for lovers and partners, not your kids.
I imagine that baby saying "WHAT?!?!" and holding a phone. Thats just what I see. Babies are funny.
Bit of veg and a few potatoes scattered around and ready to go in the oven on 180 for an hour and a half.
That's an awfully big baby to come from such a petite mama...then again, papa looks like he might be a giant...
That's a fresh baby. See super elongated skull from squeezing through birth canal.
...and the umbilical clamp... I was born a "conehead" like that and I was breech. They don't allow many breech babies to be born naturally these days, they're usually by c-section.
Load More Replies...Wow, mom that was rough‼️ Hope I never have to go thru that again…….do you agree Mom❓
reminds me of my son, he also had this much hair when he was born :D
I'd love to know that baby's birth weight. Has to be at LEAST a 10 pounder!
mom i bet i can focus on your face so hard that I can shoot lasers out of my eyes
Probably not. My kid was 5lbs 9oz, considered full term, and the preemie diapers were huge on him. This kid fits into their diaper and the tabs aren't even extended to the middle. Probably average sized or big.
Load More Replies...It's hard to imagine being so small. I have two kids and they're both growing up waaaay too fast!
Now I‘m sad. We always wanted three kids and my youngest is such a baby loving person. She adores babys and wants a baby sibling. But we have a bit of financial trouble because of covid, bad timing and stuff… and we are getting old fast. I don‘t feel up to another pregnancy and baby years and I need to think about my own future too. My head knows it‘s not a good idea but my feelings don‘t agree. I‘m sad for my youngest mostly. She would be such an awesome big sister. (And it would do her good not to be the baby of the house anymore. lol)
How about a "real life" baby doll for her to love and care for?
Load More Replies...This reminds me of bringing my son home for the first time and a census worker was waiting at the door. We asked her to leave she came back 3 hours later. She came every day for a week beating on the door when we had a newborn until we answered her stupid census questions
