I spelt one of my cousins name the wrong way for years. I know it now, but I always felt bad about it, especially since she never pointed it out. People are always wanting to misspell my name or add extra letters, thinking it's short for a different name. VERY annoying.

This used to p**s me off all the time. Even when I was a kid, my little brother would leave it off and I would end up in trouble for it. Then I just got used to putting it up after him. He's 41 now and I'm 46. I hope for his sake that he doesn't still do this. I kind of doubt it, his wife would probably kick his a*s. lmao

Sometimes you have to when the person you are talking to doesn't listen properly. I get annoyed when people working behind customer service counters and reception desks are spending ages on a phone to a customer repeating themselves because presumably the customer is asking the same questions again.

Why is using exclamation marks annoying?

I use exclamation marks. But I don't use them all the time. Just when I am trying to make a point or draw attention to what I posted.

Exclamation marks are good, so are hashtags, question marks at random intervals, emojis really get on my nerves, commas and full stops in the middle of a sentence. If you really want to get on somebody's nerves, don't put a space between each word!

I call my brother in law The Exclamation Man, cos he uses exclamations more often than i can bear.

Very annoying is somebody messaging you with "are you allright" instead of "how are you". And if you don't respond immediately they get in touch with you hours later and say that they were worried that hadn't heard from you as it's not like you to delay responding. The only reason why you respond immediately to them every time is because they are so impatient and you tend to respond when you get a message. Well I can't be on Facebook or reading my e-mails all the time or even be online all the time.
