I started this logo design project in 2011, as an experiment to see how well I could imitate real logos and reveal what they're really all about.
Here are 30 new ones, see the links here and here for even more of these cool logos.

36-year-old Viktor hails from Uppsala, Sweden and loves nurturing his creative side; he has been a freelance designer for some years now and has worked with the likes of Ray-Ban, Universal Music Group and IKEA. Speaking to Bored Panda, Viktor said he got the idea for these 'honest' company logos as a little project to have fun with, and it has grown and grown. "I just wanted to see how well I could imitate real logos of big brands, and insert new words and messages into them, to give them more truthful meaning," he told us.
"I just love the process of trying to find the best possible words, ones that either rhyme or look the same visually as the original - it's sometimes hard and takes a long time to scroll through possible words, but sometimes it just takes a few minutes to get idea. This is my favorite part of the whole process; it's like a jigsaw puzzle, looking for the correct pieces."
The redesigned logo ideas can be read as a social critique, exploring themes about capitalism, consumerism and our own habits and behaviors, too. Viktor told us that it was a conscious decision to show the ugly truth this time, and thought long and hard about how to best represent each and every one of the big companies.
"Of course, most of them are very critical and harsh, I almost felt bad on a few occasions," he told us. "But if I find something that makes sense and contains some truth, I just have to do it. It's like a graphic designer's version of tourette syndrome haha."
"But yes, I'm also a hypocrite. I use many of these products and services and enjoy them!"
For a second I didn't notice what was wrong and I had to take a closer look
Viktor's goal with this batch of design ideas was to change the original logo artworks, not just the words, to give himself a new challenge and step up his game a bit. We think he has definitely succeeded!
"I'm probably most happy with the Nestlé (Noethics) logo design idea, changing the little cute and happy bird family into an eagle swooshing down, coming to eat the eggs in the nest, " he said while reassuring us that this is an ongoing project. "There will definitely be more!"
Accurate! Just Google phrases like Nestlé boycott and you'll quickly learn about all kinds of horrible things they're doing. :( My country won't even enforce our laws on them properly and they are basically stealing water from indigenous communities.
I like falsehood, it makes a statement, bunch of narcissistic people posing for their "crowd"
Great one. People place too much importance on that. By the way, don't forget to post when you'll be out of house for extended periods. Oh, and make sure you post all those selfie updates showing us where you are at that exact moment. We love having the extra time to rummage through your stuff looking for all those hidden treasures. We love and support all the hard working folks who spend all their days exposing all their secrets to us. It makes our profession so much easier and safer!
This is so true. Never except a friend request from people you dont know.
Just in case no one knows, the criminal gov't started FB. In fact they started the Interenet by allowing it to go public & then started Silicon Valley. They have invested money in almost ALL of the HUGE IT companies you know today including this one. And Mark supposedly doesn't even know how to code, he stole the code from 2 brothers at school & they eventually settled out of court. Anyway, the gov't did this to spy on us, to collect all the data they can so they know exactly what we are doing/thinking at any time. I recommend you get OFF of FB & join MeWe. - here's my profile - https://mewe.com/profile/5be04b9bec87fc611919ed62
I agree with falsehood. That's what everyone's lives on facebook look like to me anyway. A faux picture of life.
Not just that brand, of course. All of them, really. But I believe the actual Marlboro Man died of lung cancer.
It's the FIFA logo, in case someone was wondering. I believe some people call it "soccer".
And some humor. I'm no expert on comics, but I think what sets Marvel and DC apart is that Marvel can laugh at themselves. (Plus excellent actor chemistry.) DC is far too serious.
They really f****d up with those emissions, didn't they? Oh well, they still have Audi, Bugatti, Porsche, Bentley, Seat, Skoda and Lamborghini to rely on. I just hope they don't start a proxy war with Disney for world domination.
Good stuff! I enjoyed this a lot. Uh-oh... corporate bots are downvoting all of us who liked this post. Oh, well. Next thing you know, those companies will no longer be accepting my BoredPanda discount card.
Why does everyone in here have so many downvotes for liking this post?! Wtf?! There's so much truth in every single one. Great job! And who ever downvotes me for that... Well, you know what...
The Monsanto one is wrong. Corn is a gmo, thats how we are able to Eat corn in the first place. Someone even gave me Cotton candy flavored grapes from a hipster grocery store. Monsanto tried making a rice that had carotene in it for third world countries and morons in North America got it stopped
Load More Replies..."LeftOut". No, I've been thinking about this one, will do my best!
Load More Replies...Great work, we all have a good laugh and next book our holiday flight on Ryan Air and post on Facebook and Instagram what a magnificent deal we got from good old Mr. Ryan.
"...This is my favorite part of the whole process; it's like a jigsaw puzzle, looking for the correct pieces." Yup, yup, yup, & YUP! I hear ya, man. This is the creative process through and through! Everything I do whether it be finishing a book, having the 'ah-ha!' moment on a sculpture or an anime mashup - it's a kind of magic -
I need to get out more. I recognized maybe 20% of the logos and of those, only about 50% of the references.
I'm loathe to agree wtih aunt Messy, however, sometimes it happens :p
Load More Replies...Oh, it's not self hatred at all, that's your interpretation. I'm just aware of it, nothing else.
Load More Replies...Well, one of them is Bored Panda, which is the site you are on right now. So, yeah.
