Honestly some little kids just don't know the difference between nice, and just plain cruel. I'm sure some of you Pandas out there have had some rough experiences with little kids, and I would love to hear them!

I was a very short kid, and for years people would always think I was about four years younger. Every time a kid thought I was seven instead of twelve cut deep. Fast forward to fifteen and every second person would think I was pranking them when I said my age lol. Good times
Of course now I don’t complain when people think I’m a little younger than I am ;)

(Something you should know: I'm really short.) One summer a couple years ago I was talking to my little cousin at a family reunion. (At the time she was 5.) I asked her what grade she was going into and she said "I'm gonna be in 1st grade!" very proudly. I smiled and she asked me, "What about you?" I told her and she stopped smiling. "There's NO WAY you can be in that grade. You're so small." That hurt.

I have very long hair. My little cousin one day said “I wish I had hair like yours!” Thought it was sweet until she continued “except not curly and prettier”. I had just started accepting my natural hair and stopped frying it straight, so kinda hurt

There’s this one little girl that I babysit and one time I had taken her home and she has a lil pimple because she hadn’t washed her face in a few days (according to her mom) and I told her that she better wash her face to get rid of it and she said “no I want to have a lot like Elyce.” Lemme just say that hurt so much because I’ve been having acne issues because my hormones are all over the place rn and I know she’s just a little kid but I wanted to drop kick her over her own house. 😁

I was about 5 then (F), (1970’s) and my mother had cut my long hair short. We’d gone on a family vacation and stayed at a condo at the beach (mom, dad, siblings). I was coming back up the elevator to the condo, and the doors opened on a level, where a mother/young child were waiting for it. The child all of a sudden says (I don’t know why) , “Mom, there’s already a little boy on the elevator.” It was horrific to me, and I was extremely shy so says nothing and just stood there quietly, I was too shy to correct them. It was the worst elevator ride of my life’s

My sister has 3 kids, 17, 16 and 12. The middle one is a drama queen like I am and has a lot of other qualities that I have. When she was 12-13 she told me that her mama said she was just like me, I agreed that yes, she is a lot like me. Looks me square in the eyes and says, “Mama doesn’t like that!” Love her anyway!

I was tucking my 4 year old daughter in bed and she asked me, “Mommy, why do you have holes in your face and Vanna White doesn’t?” (Referencing my enlarged pores). I said, “Well, I guess some people have holes in their face and other people don’t.” She put her chubby little hands on either side of my face and said, “Just like some people gots fuzzy cheeks and some people don’t!” Double whammy right there.
