GOD I HATE THIS ONE. I have had people tell me I am racist based solely on the fact I am white and I find it offensive. The irony was palpable given it was a racist black person telling me that. Don't know me, don't know the loving relationship I have with my black grandchildren, I didn't say anything racist - just -- "oh, you white? then you are a racist"

Politicians and talking heads take nebulous concepts such as this and turn it to their benefit. It's much simpler for them to control a group and get them frothing for conflict if the group doesn't have to think about what's going on or the ramifications of any actions associated with it. Basically it's used as a method to keep people ignorant or stupid.

Woke is outta control because people have misunderstood the meaning. No reasonable person wants to live in a world with racism and sexism. Some of these fvcks are utilising this positive in negative ways.

Woke ideology is hypocritical. It has no tolerance of alternative viewpoints or experiences. Woke is just one group of people attempting to force their beliefs on everyone else. It's very anti-American, anti-freedom, anti-choice, anti-tolerance and just about anti-everything. When someone disagrees with a woke person, they are immediately labelled when all they are doing is expressing their rights to have their own beliefs and opinions. That's why woke is bad.

I would say that what we call 'woke' is about important topics and questions. However, many woke people are populist and think only black and white, they are splitting, they are rarely self-reflective so they can't achieve anything but marginalize people who have different opinions or dare to raise questions.

Yes to this. People need to differentiate from the group of Christians who hold prejudice over a certain topic, to the group who is accepting like the ones you mentioned.

THIS! I’m a Christian, and people think I will shove it in their face or act all high-and-mighty. Obviously I would be overjoyed if everyone was a Christian, but most other religions feel the same, wanting everyone to be part of it. Doesn’t mean we’ll force it though

You have to admit when Christians support a sexual assaulting, racist, con man for president that you can't blame people for having that perception. The silence from the so-called " really nice kind and accepting people" definitely did not help change that perception. It might help if they stayed out of people's bedrooms and doctors offices.

It takes only a few people to give an entire segment of the population a s****y image. Most Christians are decent and open-minded people, but the a--holes get nearly all the attention.
