What was weird about it?

I was fishing in a bay in Corpus Christi, TX and snagged the bottom. I reeled in an oyster, popped it open, and ate it right there. My dad thought it was hilarious. My girlfriend wouldn’t kiss me the rest of the day.

Once, while in Cairo, I was served sheep testicles with rice. It wasn’t until after the meal that I was told exactly what had been served- I assumed it was simply regular meatballs on rice.

Also, I tried roasted grasshopper in Mexico- was pretty tasty!

A hot dog, looking at how they made and what there made of makes me regret ever eating one

I also ate some deer sausage, it was pretty good

Not super weird, but had some camel and kangaroo jerky I bought at a tourist trap stand, it tasted like beef to me

I haven't had jerky form, but kangaroo steaks are nice, though have a stronger flavour than beef. I wanted to try a camel burger when I was in central Australia but I couldn't afford it.
