TIGER BEETLES! They are soooo beautiful!
The time I saw my very first swan. I think swans one of the most beautiful and graceful (only in the water) birds ever. We were on a hike, and we can to the little hidden house thing where you could get a view of the lake. There were swans there. Two men were there, they were friends and professional photographers. One of them let me look through their cool camera thing and get a close look at the swans.
I found a pill millipede, they can be really brightly coloured and roll into a ball like a tiny armadillo!
I was very young, but I was hiking during winter with my parents and we saw a lynx (I think it's bobcat in english). So lucky since they are very shy and can camouflage very well under a tree with snow.
The Jesus bird, or the Jacana. I went canoeing on a school trip and saw one up close. They just casually walk on the lily pads as if they're light as air! Amazing.
