Yes! I live in the south region of Brazil and it's really hot in summer and really cold in winter, but it almost never snows. I'm 27 and I've seen snow only 3 times in my lifetime... but it's amazing when it happens :)

Tbh, I've never seen a bird eating them. It's an ornamental bush in a little garden near my house. The thing is down here, in the south of Spain, snow is pretty rare and it doesn't last for more than a few days. Winters are not particularly hard for birds and those that prefer warmer weather migrate to Africa.

Going through that right now in Fl. It's been in the 50s. Way, way, way too cold for FL. In a few days it will be back into the 70s and 80s. Can't wait. I do like wearing my big sweatshirts and sweatpants though and SIL misses wearing her boots. Fun fact, thirty years ago it snowed in Gainesville, FL.
