It’s adorable! I have a big cherry tree but it gave me a big fat nothing last year - I think because it was too hot. We’ll see what happens this year.

Oh man - I wish I could get mine to flower. It was my grandmother’s and she had it in her back porch window and we always looked forward to it blooming because it was so cool. It must be over 50 years old. When she died, my dad had it for a few years and then gave it to me. I’ve repotted it after it was unhappy for while, dying back a bit, but for the past couple years it has been growing nonstop. I hope one day it will create blossoms.

Try to take the plant outdoors during the summer, and if I can comfort you, once it starts to bloom it doesn't stop :)

I once met a police detective in New Mexico who said that you can tell that marijuana is evil just by looking at the plants. I don't use the stuff myself, but I can't see what he's talking about. The plants look really nice.

I can’t believe anyone would dump that! I had one-it looked great and one day suddenly it was dropping leaves fast and died. I don’t know what happened…I had read all the advice. I am still so sad about that months later-I’ll probably get another but I want to be sure it won’t happen again. I wish you the best of luck saving it!

Planted it in native clay dirt. Goes dormant every summer and comes back in winter (California). Each year before the rainy season I make sure to give it new topsoil on top for nutrients and it just takes care of itself, and for two weeks in March it smells like roses.
