Sometimes you are immediately flustered by your crush. But other times a crush grows. How do you know if you actually like someone?

I will get a crush on them but normally I'll get to know them and end up not liking them.
Look at your behavior, and see if you act differently around them.
Also, my friend told me this once. "If you want to know if someone likes you, ask them what their favorite movie is. No matter what they say, tell them you've never seen it. If they say that both of you should see it sometime, they either like you or are comfortable with your relationship"
They are one of the only things I can think about and it becomes very easy suddenly to spot them in a crowd even if I never would’ve before.

Haha, I can always tell because I get nervous around them. I act more extroverted. I think about them a ton and overthink EVERYTHING they do and say.🤣🤣🤣
When I was younger, crushes were all about looks and personality. Now, I get "instant" crushes of course, but the worst ones actually grow on me. Usually when I am around someone long enough to start crushing on their kindness and deep character. It catches me by surprise sometimes.
Sometimes ""instant" crushes" are actually really good ones. I got one as soon as I saw him and he was like me, he liked me, he was kind, funny, etc. ( And I actually got to know him, not just a crush bias).
you sort of become another version of them, you find yourself wanting to hang around them all the time, you touch your hair and make yourself look better around them, you angle yourself towards them when you're together, all subtle signs that you like them even if you do it not knowing
They make you feel kinda funny. Like when you used to climb the rope in gym class.
They make you blush every time you see them or talk to them, and they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, they also make you smile when you see them looking at you.
When I am actually excited to leave my house because I want to see them.
I like a lot of people, because I just find them fascinating. But liking someone romantically should be a singular thing, so you can show them the respect of loyalty (the basis of a lasting love affair). The trick then is training yourself NOT to like other people in that way.
