HOLY COW, I MISS THIS MAN!!

A kid should never have to worry about such a thing. Yet still, this is really happening. Heart-breaking. I think if I had a child and was in this situation, I couldn't hold up my brave parent face and would have broken down crying, that my baby is thinking about things like this. It even hurts me that a child I do not even know, is thinking about things like this.

How can any sick, twisted f**k read this and still think that their "2nd amendment right" takes precedence! Enough is enough!

I voted "up" on this, but really what I wanted to do was shake my head in sadness and disgust that an eight-year old is even contemplating such things.

Everyone who is against this, how many more children have to die before you accept that we need gun control? Honestly, give me a good answer. Fifty, two hundred, a thousand? I would like a definite response.

Heartbreaking

Active shooter drills should not have to be a thing. Especially in elementary school. When I was in 9th grade my high school had a shooting the year before and lockdown drills as we called them were new. But in elementary school all we had to worry about were possible fires and earthquakes. Kids should not have to grow up so fast. We need to fix this. Guns should not be so easy to get hold of.

It is horrible that 8 year olds have to worry about these things.

Why should children and teens have to have 'active shooter drills'. Can't the American Government see how this makes the country look! America is not a 3rd world country hiding from despots and madmen with machetes! It's supposed to be a powerful country, they should be ashamed making children go through this horror. WHEN will WE demand funding for improving assistance to perhaps preventable aggressive behavior, which leads to the horrific trauma felt by all - Seems to me to be common sense, if we care about other human beings

We just had to have a major lockdown in my school you know what it was for not guns but for a bomb some terrorist plan to write near my school. Are you all outraged about that where's the CNN town hall meeting about that

THIS POST... IS DESIGNED TO CHANGE THE DIALOG IN ORDER TO MISLEAD READERS DOWN A DEAD-END PATH. THAT VIEWPOINT LEADS TO MUCH MORE VIOLENCE AND MUCH MUCH MORE DEATH. HERE IS WHY....A problem exists, yes. You wouldn't solve a problem by removing the paper that it is written on, would you ? It seems to me these children are not receiving the care and friendship of a healthy community. A healthy community begins with trust; trust in each other and not to tolerate abusiveness from anyone. A healthy community is built upon a foundation of equality, self respect, and respect for others. Without trust, equality, and respect, history shows us that violence will only escalate. Our children need good examples from the adults in our society to stop poisoning the planet with hate, distrust, separation, greed, nuclear weapons, and war. Blaming the children in any of these alleged shootings, solves the problem about as much as making all the guns magically disappear.

Wait! You do know that stuff like this was happening throughout time not just now right? GUNS DONT KILL PEOPLE__ PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE. So what? An eight-year-old was worried about her shoes, and she MIGHT get killed? Some girls around the world show their ankles and they WILL get killed. Sure some school shootings happen and I get why we are practicing active school shootings, but if you think about it, in the 1700's they were raping and killing girls all the time. They didn't have guns!

So a THINKING person who did their own investigation might find out that during this incident there was another drill OF this situation IN this location. One might find out that during Columbine, there was a drill of that exact situation, in that same location - and that multiple seniors from that incident saw people dressed like a SWAT team firing heavily into windows. One might realize there was a drill of a public shooting right where the Aurora man - having skipped at least 3 closer theaters that allowed guns - went into the gun-free theater and wreaked havoc. Sandy Hoax had a drill of a school shooting exactly where and when the incident allegedly occurred. San Bernardino had that whole section of town blocked for a drill of a mass shooting exactly where and when it supposedly occurred. London subway bombing had a drill right in the subway, right there, right when the bombing occurred. Spanish train bombing had a drill of a train bombing right as the bombing happened - Again.
