When Jaime and Cersei Lannister were caught mid-coitus by young Bran Stark way back in season one of Game of Thrones, everybody made puking noises and turned away from the screen (and if you didn't, what's wrong with you? THEY'RE SIBLINGS). But when Jon Snow, otherwise known as Aegon Targaryen, ended up in bed with Daenerys Targaryen, otherwise known as his AUNT, in the crazy season seven finale of the series, everybody's heart melted. Except for those insane people who think there's something majorly wrong with incest of course. First, incest was fairly common in a lot of the family trees in GoT. Second, they don't know they're related so they can't be blamed for making a bad decision there. Third, she's his aunt, so with that separation of generations, there would be little chance of anomalies in any resulting children. And let's face it, with the conversation about her not being able to have kids and his response, it's relatively certain he impregnated her. That child is going to be beautiful!

I'm an earlier season danerys' child died and was said to have scales on its skin. They also said that Targaryen's mated within the family to keep the blood lines pure, but maybe it was because only targaryens produced viable offspring so they had to further their family tree

Targaryens are blonde because they have a history of incest to keep their bloodline pure. Jon Snow is both a Stark (Ned's sister is his mother) and a Targaryen (Dany's brother is his father). He is not blonde because he's not a pure Targaryen.

The show is merging Jon Snow (show) and Elia's Aegon (books). What's happening in the book with real Aegon isn't going to happen in the show. Either Aegon character has a better traditional claim to the Iron Throne, but to the Targaryens these lines of succession are more like guidelines anyways!

I don't watch GoT but plasma would be a liable option. It would probably burn (depending on the element) as plasma is really just super-heated gas so blue fire totally could be plasma... unless blue fire freezes. In which case... it's not plasma.

You know how liquid nitrogen "burns" while contacting the skin? I think it's the same think. He destroyed the wall by sheer force and not by melting the ice, there was no steam coming out at the impact.

Of the whole Nymeria scene, only three angle shots required manipulation to over-size her. Out of those, at least one could simply be achieved with forced-perspective. Ghost would always be in close relations to humans, so nearly every single shot of him needs to be CGI'd.

It's not considered incest in their world. It wasn't considered incest in our world either in the medieval era. Incest is parent/child or siblings in their world. That's it. There were other examples of aunt/nephew in the books and no one batted an eye about it. First cousins aren't considered an issue either. Tywin Lannister married his first cousin without scandal. It's not a real issue in their world. Our modern world, our personal feelings, and the realities of genetics (that they know nothing about) have nothing to do with their reality. I see all of these memes and stuff talking about how Bran knows everything, or says he does, but he doesn't. He only has the capability to see everything, and when he saw Lyanna giving birth to Jon (or Aegon, whatever) he assumed that he was still a bastard, because the marriage of Rhaegar and Lyanna wasn't common knowledge. As for why he didn't just move closer and listen to what she told Ned, IDK, but basically, Bran doesn't know everything.

It's super dissapointing that everyone in this show is just dying to have some feudal dictator to serve though they've done nothing to earn that position accept being born to the right people. Jon was exceptional, because he was ELECTED to be king in the north not just because of his ancestry, but for his skills as a warrior and a leader. I felt he really betrayed all the people who trusted him

Bran can see anything in the past or present. This isn't the same as knowing everything. It's clearly shown that it takes time to watch things. There isn't enough time to watch everything that ever happened throughout the world.|

Yeah...the point of Theon's growth as a person, not the fight or the person he was fighting. In a way, that was Theon fighting Theon. All his doubts and self-hate brought on by Ramsay. That was him standing up to everything holding him back.

Unbelievable, the comments I got. I simply don't recieve the channel it's on in my country... and instead of anyone just trying to explain why I should watch it, I just get agressive comments. I just think the hype is fascinating, jeezz!

I would highly recommend reading the books since you don't get the channel. George R.R. Martin is a fantastic storyteller and has created such an expansive and complete world with fascinating characters. Definitely worth the time to read.

The incest on GofT is the least of it's horrors; the brutal rapes, tortures and dismemberinngs have numbed us all. Cersie + Jamie have been knowingly going at each other for years. Yara Greyjoy knowingly seduced Theon when he did not know that was his sister [rule for the guys: don't just go along with every chick that jumps you; she has issues]. So now we have Daenrys and Jon S [aka Aegon Targaryon] who have no idea they are related paternal aunt to nephew. I have not read the books, so are we SURE that Daenrys is a sister to Jon's father? Sure she's a Targaryan [unburnt and all] but are we SURE her mother didn't have a secret? Everyone else on this show does.
