Beyond the Wall basically tells a heist story that goes terribly wrong, and it culminates in yet another epic fight scene. It's gritty, it's emotional, it's awesome.

I did wonder about the chains as well, but not so much as I wondered where they recruited the diving team to swim down and secure the dragon with the extremely heavy chains....?? I get that frozen dead people most likely wouldn't require scuba gear, but come on! When the ice broke, none of those wights resurfaced. So did they go kill a dive team and bring them back? Or did they hang out there for a few weeks learning how to swim?

I find it refreshing that they are getting to the point and not having full episodes of people traveling anymore. I know we all love GoT but good things do have to come to an end. I'm so glad that the episodes are no longer wasted on filler. I would also like to point out that Much time has passed with Jon and the Crew waiting on the rock, so much time in fact that the Lake refroze over before the final battle season.

I find it pointless to tell us how long it takes to get from Kingslanding to Winterfell and winterfell to the wall and from the wall to beyond the wall. All of that can be taken into consideration because we all saw seasons 1-6. I'm glad they are done with Travel episodes, in fact they can't do too many of those episodes considering that most of the characters stories are now overlapping as the Series comes to an end. Please take what the writers already gave you and use it to fill in the gaps on your own, it's okay to be creative, I'm sure that's what the writers are hoping you will do, come up with conclusion on your own.

Actually there isn't a mention of Daenerys receiving the message prior to leaving North, she might have just decided to help John on her own, before John and the lads even got into the battle with the Night King.

I didn't watch the leaked episode but someone posted a spoiler(about one of the dragons) before it was even out here in the Netherlands. Normally I stay away from certain sites to keep the spoilers away because it is aired on Monday not Sunday here. I hate spoilers especially the big ones.

Because not long before that the ice had cracked and they all fell in. They aren't too bright but was waiting for the water to harden to ice again. They didn't realise it was hard until that point.

White walkers are immune to fire, only whites (those turned by white walkers) burn. The only way to kill white walker, including the Night King is either Valerian steel or Dragon Glass

That bit was the only point this episode that I honestly felt a character might be in actual danger. Good episode, but not up to GoT's usual standards of Greatness.

I really thought I would enjoy this episode, with so many of my favourite characters in one place. But it was f*****g nerve wracking. In every part of the fight scenes I was like, "S**t.. Where's my Hound? Where's Jorah? Where's Gendry? Where's Tormund? Where's Jon?" And when every one of them was finally confirmed still alive, someone died again, and I was back to "Oh my God, who was that? Where's the Hound?.."

I was not that sad...i thought more characters would die. GOT has been easy on the deaths lately. The Benjen save was very cheesy. Does he have a gps tracker on all Starks? Lol. Arya and Sansa scenes were painful to watch. Sansa hares Littlefinger too yet she goes to him for advice. It all does not add up
