If you liked our posts on Twitter accounts like "Out Of Context Human Race" or "-1000 IQ", you should love this one as well.

It's called "Pictures Of The End" and according to the people behind the fun internet project, this parody account documents the end of the world, inviting everyone to witness the last era of humans and animals on Earth.

Sounds like a weird premise, I know, but the content isn't gruesome or anything. Rather, it's so nonsensical, you can't help but think that life on our planet has evolved to its final stage and everything is going downhill from now on.

How else would you explain a dude drinking hand sanitizer straight up? We're doomed.

While human extinction sounds like something straight out of a nightmare (or in this case, a joke), there are many ways in which it could happen.

Popular culture usually focuses on the most spectacular possibilities: like the hurtling asteroid in the film Armageddon or the alien invasion of Independence Day.

And while such a dramatic end is possible, focusing on such scenarios may distract us from the most serious threats we face today.

"Of course it was tragic," said the family's lawyer, "but Mrs Pomeroy always loved the beach. It was the way she would have wanted to go."

For example, both the World Health Organization and the World Economic Forum listed climate change and its effects as one of the top risks.

Recent UN talks already called climate change "a matter of life and death" for many regions and many, including Sir David Attenborough, believe it could lead to the collapse of civilizations and the extinction of "much of the natural world".

The possible threats are complex and diverse, from killer heatwaves and rising sea levels to widespread famines and migration on a truly immense scale.

I know this is supposed to be of meme value, but I actually see real art in this photo. This is visual poetry to me.

Also, let's not forget the potential risks from novel technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI).

Experts highlight scenarios that range from increasingly sophisticated cyber-weapons that could hold an entire nation's data to ransom to autonomous algorithms that could unwittingly cause a stock-market crash.

While many focus on rising tensions between global powers and talk about conflicts like nuclear war, new technologies may also be making us less safe.

But think of all the pictures these events would produce!

This is the only scenario when you dont need a doctor to declare a person dead.

Also if half of the head is missing, and hemichordectomy (sorry I just wanted an excuse to use the word, it doesn't get an outing very often)

part of thier actual training is: " you always give CPR until the doctor declares death. the sole exception is if the head is completely severed."

Ahhh, they don't teach you that in the books!! If you detach their head they won't cough in your face when they come to. Old truck of the trade.

Trivia: The CPR doll has a name, Resusci Anne, among variants. She is the creation of the Norwegian toy maker Åsmund S. Lærdal in collaboration with physicians Peter Safar and James Elam. Today she is manufactured by the company Laerdal Medical. Her face is based upon L'Inconnue de la Seine, an unidentified young Parisian who was pulled from the Seine at the Quai du Louvre in the 1880s. A man at the morgue became intrigued with her expression and made a death mask. The mask was replicated, and her face became the muse of artists and writers around the world.

This is Walgreens. According to the Wall Street Journal, this was done to bombard customers with digital ads as they walk past, and they're installed with cameras & sensors to track which products you look at. Dystopian indeed.
