Freckles are often found on people with fair complexions, such as people with red hair. Why? Because people with paler skin color generally have less melanin, which is the pigment that gives skin, hair, and eyes their color. So, where do these cute freckles come from? Well, although freckles are inherited, it's actually the sun that brings them out. See, the sun's ultraviolet radiation causes melanocytes to make more skin pigments, and this, in turn, creates freckles on face, arms, and shoulders while making existing freckles darker. This is why freckles appear darker in the summer and lighter in the winter! Check out the different types of freckles below, and don't forget to vote for the most beautiful photos!

This girl and her freckles have been showcased in other articles. She and many others are covered in exaggerated freckles and birthmarks. Just because it's not common or hard to believe, that doesn't make it false. All photographers have the right to enhance the intensity of the images they take. Honestly, why do people have trouble with things being 100% unadulterated anyway? An image is just a representation of what an eye or a brain can process. Thank goodness we have something like photos hope to help us capture a little more of the beauty in this world.

There are products on the market that can help freckles diminish (fade) in their intensity. The more you add the more they fade. Actresses with alot of freckles use this cover up. Most people loath redheads to begin with so they'll use that & even change their hair color.

he is so amazingly beautiful. the sad thing these days is that these beautiful children are a minority and these days it means being teased and bullied, which will eventually make them stronger (my brother has fire red hair and freckles). i think red hair is so stunning! precious boy
