40 Times People Saw Entitled Jerks And Just Had To Share Screenshots On This Online Community
Ah, undeserved entitlement. It’s that thing that makes your first impression of a person go sour in a matter of moments because of how obnoxious, arrogant, and in-your-face high-and-mighty they’re acting. Greedy, needy, and unabashed, the entitled can be found everywhere—you just need to keep an eye out for those who believe they’re at the center of the known universe.
There’s an online community that’s entirely dedicated to shaming entitled people, and it’s a heck of a ride. We’ve compiled some of the subreddit’s best posts to show you the insane levels of entitlement some folks can reach, and it’s making our eyebrows rise high enough to merge with our hairlines.
Scroll down, upvote your fave pics, and be sure to let us know in the comments what the most entitled people that you’ve ever seen have done. Got any tips on how to deal with the ultra-entitled? Let us know as well.

With over 284k members, the subreddit is doing very well for a community that is just over a couple of years old. The subreddit’s moderators want to show the internet what others’ experiences with people who “always get their own way and are better than everyone” have been like.
However, just because a person’s entitled, it doesn’t mean that they deserve getting hate online. For this reason, the subreddit forbids including any information that could make it possible to identify the people connected to any posts. From names and phone numbers to addresses and locations, it’s best to keep those things private. People change, after all, and you never know if somebody who was narcissistic yesterday might have turned into a Good Samaritan today.

ok I get the point of this story but f**k of with that Boomer, millennial, gen X s**t, its just another way to divide us. This is a point in history we dont want to be defined by race, sex,or sexuality but we are happy for the block of time. No way I am an individual many other people were born the same year some are fantastic people some are d***s.
Agree 100%, I'm pretty sick of the whole "boomers are jerks" thing, probably about as much as the younger folks are sick of "millennials are lazy" thing. There are jerks and lazy in ALL generations.
Load More Replies...I don't know what "boomer" has to do with anything. Rude people are rude people - period. Every generation has them.
I am of the boomer generation and try to be nice to people as much as possible. No matter what generation we are, we can be good or bad. Let's just be good. It feels so much better. Sorry you had a bad experience with someone I may have gone to school with. Y'know I think I remember having a bad experience with them too when I was younger than you! So let's just be nice.
I am with you. I also think we need to get away from labeling everyone, i.e. generation x, boomer, millinials(sp?), etc.. Being kind or rude to someone is an individual choice a person makes not a generation.
Load More Replies...I wonder why the person's age mattered in this story? It was a person being awful to someone they thought they could bully. Age is irrelevant - there are bullies of all ages. It's like referencing ethnicity as if it makes a difference to the story. Give me a moment while I grab some popcorn before watching Gen X-ers, millennials, etc get upset over this comment. See what I did there?
This is a fantastic thing to do..... But I call bull s**t on this story.
Why do you find it necessary to identify an individual by their generation? What has that got to do with being nice or rude? An individual of any age can be rude to the clerk behind the counter. They could also be extremely generous with tipping and comments. Shaming someone for their age is wrong in so very many ways.
If a behavior is appalling, so be it. To which generation they belong likely has little to do with this. Rude is rude, and generation bashing is just as rude as the afore mentioned behavior.
You know, there are a lot of years covered by the term "Boomer." I was born in 1949 and don't find the people I grew up with nearly as self-centered and disrespectful of others as some of the generations that came after me. Look at most of the volunteers in your community. They are probably Boomers. My father called these people the "Old Heads," the ones that had been around long enough to have had an awful lot of experience. It might be a good idea to listen to some of that experience rather than highlight a rude individual as being characteristic.
I seriously doubt she had the balls to do this, but it makes for a good story.
Why single out boomers? Don't see what age has to do with this unless you are ageist. There are rude people in all generations.
@I'm a makeup addict - Thank you on behalf of Karen's everywhere. For the most part, I would say we are all pretty much baby boomers, as it was one of the most popular names for that time period. But we're so exhausted with seeing this everywhere. And people not understanding that it is definitely affecting our lives. This is why I'm Louloubelle here. I never give out my real name when calling for anything anymore.
Had this happen to me. Worked drive thru and a customer was being unreasonably rude (upset the line was slow. Even after explaining we were understaffed and been busy since opening). It had been a rough shift highly stressful and i was on the verge of tears from it all. Car behind her get cashed out n i hand him the order. He tips me a $5 and with a kind smile tells me to hang in there n im doing an excellent job. Legit made my day/night
"aggressive generosity" I'm totally going to use that from now on
I am definitely going to do this if it ever happens to me, what a terrific idea.
I like this strategy and I'm a "boomer" - selfishness can infect any age group.
As a boomer : I approve of this - I grew up surrounded by entitled assholes that now try to paint every other generation as spoiled ! Don't get me wrong - we had some things hard -but ,for the most part we were better off than following generations !
Starbucks barista wouldn't make an iced coffee because 'it wouldn't live up to the Starbucks standard'. I was with two coworkers so... I continued and asked only a bit louder, Same comment from him and louder. Two more tries and out comes the manager, 'WHAT is going on?' Barista says he won't honor my request because of the standard thing. The manager sneers at him and says to 'give the man what he ordered' and walked away. I get my drink and as I turn to see a line that has grown since this started, I hear coworker number one say 'Iced coffee please!'
What does being a baby boomer have to do with it? I see people act like jerks and they're of all labels, ages and flavors
Alternative title - yet another creative writing exercise from tumblr
I’m a late boomer (1960), but have also spent decades in jobs where customer service was either all or part of my duties, so I would never berate anyone like a nut job Karen would do. I know how it feels to be—-undeservedly—-on the receiving end of that treatment. Honestly, the old saying “you can kill more flies with honey than you can with vinegar” is just so true.
All that had to happen here is the lady needed to ask for extra chocolate, and pay for it. Was that not put forth as an option by the teenager? If the lady kicked up a fuss about paying for it, then let the manager deal with it. No one comes off good here. Poor customer behaviour, poor customer service, and someone who really just needed to mind their own business.
A perfect example of a heartless Karen vs a pure of heart, generous human being who knows how people should be treated.
@Jarod Giaquinto, I'm downvoting the Karen reference, not the entire message. I'm a Karen, and I'm done.
Load More Replies...I'm skeptical about this one. Something might have occurred along those lines but the "atm is over there, I could go all night" seems an add-on like you wish you had said it in the moment so just add to the story to embellish it a little bit
If you reread it, OP didn't actually say the words, just had the attitude

According to ‘Better Help,’ a sense of entitlement is considered to be a personality trait where a person believes that they deserve privileges or recognition that they didn’t earn. One way that a person can become entitled is growing up in a household where they don’t learn how to earn rewards which makes them expect them for nothing when they grow up.
In short, entitled people make life all about them: everything has to benefit them, everything is about them, and they believe they’re superior to everyone else. That means that the entitled rarely compromise with others, they lack empathy, and they get frustrated when the world doesn’t rush to fulfill their every whim.

Why Are You Mourning Your Stillborn Daughter? You Didn’t Know Her. Get Over It So There Are No Distractions At My Wedding
While it’s obvious that entitled folks have a strong desire to be at the center of attention, some of them do this through self-pity and playing the victim. Though they might seem extremely confident on the surface, some of them have a lot of insecurities that they’re working through.
In fact, research shows that entitled people can end up hurting not just those around them, but also themselves because they have unrealistic expectations which can’t be met sometimes.

I'm so sick of "influencers" and such trying to get free crap. We have def gone wrong as a society to make people believe that this type of behavior is appropriate. I hope the restaurant owner replied back that they were glad she enjoyed the food and that she didn't need her influencers. Why do people not get that business run on money- the income they make from whatever they sale or produce? Ridiculous. Perhaps I should get off bored panda at 4 am because I have no filter to not comment on such crap.

I pulled up and parked in a handicap accessible spot in front of the hospital (I had a legal permit) and got out the car. This man pulled his car behind mine and started calling me some of the most vile names I have ever heard in my entire life. I just looked at him, walked around the car, got Mom's walker out of the backseat and then opened her door to help her out. The guy's face went ashen and he sped away. Imagine his surprise when he got on the elevator with us.

Quite The Way To Put It
Around 550 ce, Yüwen Tai (in northern China) had lost an extremely important battle to the Ch'i and was on the run. He was captured. Yüwen told his captor, "If you capture me, you'll be out of work. Why don't you go take the gold in my tent?" Yüwen was released, and his grandson eventually destroyed the Ch'i.

The majority, if not all of these posts are American people; I'm not saying there's not spoilt entitled people everywhere, but it seems very prevalent in the good old USA :P
Yeah lmao, unfortunately it's not exclusive to the US. I sort of wish it was, because at least then, I'd know that despite the assholes in my country, there are other good people elsewhere

Once I was on a plane, almost empty, and I'm trying to lie down, because the seets next to me were empty. So I'm getting comfotable( And I'm a 5 year old) and this Karen taps on my shoulder, shakes her head at me, and says" You're disturbing the other passangers" I just nod, but I'm thinking, What other people? There is literally 3 other 8 people on this whole plane!( I don't have pictures)
Posts like this just get me so riled up. People being so stupid and ignorant is the last thing I want to deal with. No anger to the writer, of course! Only to the idiotic people in this thread. I can't understand how people can have such a lack of compassion and empathy or understanding for other human beings, truly. To calm down I will now listen to girl in red for a bit :P
just the right balance that it doesn't make me mad enough to hate the thread but also keeps me entertained, rather than miffed.
None of these actually happened. Attention-seeking people making this stuff-up has got to be the saddest thing to come out of the internet.
Prior to Covid I traveled the country working autoshows. A few years back I'm working the Pittsburgh. Got off work, ordered Chinese takeout from a hole in the wall. Placed my order, and then sat in the lobby staring at my phone. A white family comes in. Out of courtesy, I acknowledge them by head nodding like how black dudes greeting in passing. A few seconds goes by and the dad impatiently asks, "So are you going to seat us or what?" Mind you, I'm wearing a full suit with a magnetic name badge that clearly says my name and Ford Motor Company. This is where the story could've ended but I decided to be a d**k. So I got up, grabbed some menus, and sat them. Promptly sat my ass back down. Dad blurts out he's ready to order. When he asks why I'm not writing anything down, I reassured him I memorized everything...only to sit right back in the lobby. Dad is livid. Confronts me. Owner overhears commotion, brings out my food. Stare family dead in the eyes, point to my name badge, & strut out. Nick-Auto-...8ddb9e.jpg
“I don’t work here” is all you had to say. Why be an ass about it?
