Hello there! I’m Jeremiah Hause or GhostHause on the internet. You probably haven’t heard of me. I’m a British illustrator working out of Austin Texas and I use a lot of different media but these brown paper and marker pieces are probably my favorite.

Is death supposed to be beautiful? I mean is this drawing like a ,metaphor that death is beautiful?

She is supposed to be beautiful in Sandman, as the character designs chosen for her always make her appear pretty. She is one of the Endless family, alongside Dream, Destiny, Destruction etc. But you'll find your question addressed in a different comic - Dylan Dog. There is an episode where the personified death was a generally unattractive woman, the point? "Death is the woman that nobody wants to kiss." The comic also addresses the stereotypes of drawing personified deaths as beautiful female figures.
