Looking at these magical Disney scenes it's hard to believe that these are actual paintings and not digital illustrations. They're the work of American artist Thomas Kinkade, who was the master of chiaroscuro, a painting technique using light and dark contrasts to create a sense of drama and the illusion of volume. That's why it looks as though your favorite childhood characters could come alive any second and step through the painting to greet you.
The detail in each piece of artwork is amazing and the longer you look at it the more you'll find. The late Thomas Kinkade illustrated Disney worlds better than anyone I've seen - I'd say even better than Disney itself. He stated that his goal had been "to create inviting worlds that draw people into their depths and encourage them to seek a better, brighter, more hopeful existence". I'd say these paintings definitely achieved that goal.

Tangled
Thomas Kinkade's work is exceptional, these prove his artistry. Simply lovely.
Alice In Wonderland
Some of these are painted by "Thomas Kinkade Studios"....Like the stamp pictured on the bottom right here. His apprentices took over the work when he died. So the newer paintings aren't by him per se but in his style. I think he passed in the middle of doing the Jungle Book one. So his people finished it. I'm not sure if his artists add the additional characters from other movies on the larger originals like Kinkade did. Those are so cool.
My daughter pointed out to me the other night about how the "hidden characters" were missing from the Tangled one. And we just finished the Alice in Wonderland one, didn't have any in it either. So it doesn't look like they are.. That was one of my favorite parts when working one of the puzzles.

"The Thomas Kinkade Studio continues on the path that Thom himself started and developed. Thomas Kinkade Studio Artists paint in the true Thomas Kinkade style with great attention to detail, a love of light and an overwhelming appreciation of the way a picture can tell a beautiful story. Carrying on the model Thom himself had been driven to develop, Thomas Kinkade Studios carries on the Kinkadian tradition to create art that will stand the test of time and be treasured for the ages." Direct quote from the Thomas Kinkade Studios website. Not all painted by Kinkade, but by his studio's artists who use his style.

Oz The Great And Powerful
That's thw wizard of oz. Not oz the great and powerful. Dorothy is clearly seen
Enchantingly beautiful in every way, I want to jump into the picture!!
#22 is The Jungle Book, and Oz: The Great and Powerful is just The Wizard of Oz; there's nothing in the painting from O:TGP, nor was TWoO produced by Disney.
These painting are so bright, vibrant and beautiful. I absolutely adore the colours and the detailing. ESPECIALLY the detailing. I love how he puts in every small significant detail from the story, such as little characters, certain objects, castles etc. and yet maintains a clear and logical or almost logical painting that still focuses on a main summary of the entire story e.g. the prince and the princess together.
....sometimes your taste is very kitsch Bored Panda team. Did you already hear "less is more"? Because here I just see cheap grandmothers canevas from the 80's...
So basically you say that you hate it because you can't make it. "Less is more" is aplicable in designs for logo's, flyers etc.
