In the 80s there were these frozen big puffs with chicken, cheese, and broccoli inside that you could cook in microwave or oven. They were so good even though they were expensive. Pepperidge Farm made them and I contacted them about bringing them back but no go.

THIS is the very first thing I thought of when I saw the title. The new ones are WAY smaller. As a result the filling dries out when they are cooked. I DO like the spices on the new one though.

Last time I went to get one its a triangle shaped pie with a lace crust that is mushy.

These days, at least in America, the microwaved pies are full of filling, with maybe two or three tiny pieces of apple in them.

It´s discontinued in the U.S.? I have it every now and then in the Czech Republic and I am pretty sure it´s just as common in the rest of Europe.
