Owners Of Dirty Trucks Find Amazing Drawings On Their Vehicles Left By This Artist (36 New Pics)
Every car owner knows that as soon as their precious vehicle gets dirty, it becomes a target of street mockery. Think of the classic ‘Wash Me,’ its millennial twist ‘Y U No Wash?’ or something much more sinister. But for the Russian artist Nikita Golubev, they are blank canvases waiting to be turned into incredible, surreal works of art that are destined to fade away in rain or get swallowed by a new layer of dirt.
The Moscow-based artist, better known by the nickname Pro Boy Nick, calls this unusual artistic technique a way of “digging art out of dirt,” and his works speak for themselves. The dirty car artist currently has 107k Instagram followers and his audience is constantly growing.
“I just wanted to start up something new, to work fast on big surfaces. And dirty trucks helped me with that. It became some kind of giant sketchbook, which I share with people,” he told in an interview with Bored Panda that you can read in full below. And after you’re done, don’t forget to check out our previous posts on Pro Boy Nick ‘vandalizing’ dirty cars on Moscow streets here and here.

Nikita told us that the most difficult part of the creative process is to start, but so it is with any art, he added. “Another thing is that you can’t undo what you painted, but I find it to be beneficial since it helps me to finish my work and learn when it’s the right time to stop.”
The artist said that he always tries to make his dirt drawing simple and clear, but he also enjoys making “a depth in the images.” “Dirt is always different. It can be dry, or wet, or frozen, thick or thin, and that makes me work with a different approach.” And for those who’re wondering how long it takes to produce one dirt painting, Nikita said that on average, it’s one hour.
“I get lots of feedback from all around the world, and many come directly from truck drivers. It seems that most people are impressed with that and understand my messages, which is inspiring to me."
When asked if he's ever gotten in trouble for ‘vandalizing’ cars with dirt drawings, he assured us that it's never happened. “Although I have never asked any permission to do that. I never make anything insulting. I also never discuss ideas for my drawings with anyone, but I keep in mind that someone will find my drawing on his truck and it will go on the streets.”
It turns out that some drivers keep Nikita’s artworks for months until they get covered with new dirt. “A couple of times, I started my new drawing when the previous was still visible (for example, a swimming girl and kid in the dirt).”
"Don't worry, axolotl"
"Keep your hands away from my dirt"
Imagine falling asleep in the passenger seat of the car behind this truck, and waking up to see this.
I recognize robocop and chappy, no idea who the person with the terrible haircut is though...
"Happy New Year!"
These are amazing. If I were the truck owner I would be like, “Well, I guess I’m never washing my truck again.”
No you wouldn't if you owned the truck Damages the clear coat.
What clear coat???

Banksy of dirt
These are incredible. From this I have learned that apparently Russia is filthy.
That was my takeaway as well. (And the artwork is incredible)!
Absolutely breathtaking. I've always felt that there is a special sort of poignancy associated with such fleeting, temporary works of art.
Too good to be washed! 😸
This sort of reminds me of Banksy...
Is there any way they could keep that intact? By applying something on it, I don't know...This is real art, it would be pitty to be washed off.

Ooo I would like to know more about the technique! Do you use your fingers or brushes? Is water used?
Wow, in my city, I only see d!ck doodles and expletives scrawled on trucks...
Very cool and whimsical 🖤
Always impressed, as I am unable to do well, with stick figures, Help !!!
Imagine how clean all of these vehicles would be if PBNs work would come on in lacquer paint instead... how about going pro Pro Boy Nick!
I would let my truck get dirty on purpose to see what would appear!
amazing artist

People should start asking him to do it on their filthy vehicles n pay him high $$.
It’s Amazing how pro boy nick can make these because if he makes the tiniest mistake it would be ruined!!! I’m so fascinated by this! 😧
artist should open up a truck wash and make some money
Making something ugly awe-inspiring!
Fun and creative art as long as these are applied to the tarpaulin or panels of a truck trailer, I also have fun and admire the motifs. However, keep in mind that the dirt contains earth and grains of sand and they scratch the painted surfaces of the cars enormously if they are wiped out or erased (smeared) in them. Then, as the owner of a passenger car or van, I will absolutely no longer like it if my car decorates in this way but is severely damaged at the same time :-(.
What a refreshing thing to see. Thank Pro Boy Nick. You did good.
You put your life in your hands messing with somebody's truck.
infinite talent!
I think he should create his art in a more permanent form; he has serious talent!
What are waste to do this on dust clean the damn truck where gun up paint that way the owner will feel obligated to show the art it's awesome art but it's gonna be done away with with water Your work is awesome it should be preserved even from these dirty trucks claimed the truck and then paint your drawings that way your drawings are seen by everyone and appreciated
You are right that the artist's work is awesome, but he has chosen this particular medium to show his work. Maybe he wanted more people to see the work in a short space of time than would see it in a more conventional setting, e.g. in a gallery which would only be visited by those who are really keen on art. I have seen beautiful paintings done by pavement artists who knew their work would soon be destroyed by the weather or peoples' footsteps.
Wel, somehow the thought that they are damaging the polish on those cars is haunting me. love the drawings, but be sre not to damage someones property.
He draws with a finger as far a I understand. On dirt. Nothing is damaged.
Would you be cool if someone did this on your Ferrari? It absolutely damages the clear coat. Whether that really matters on a big truck is for the owner to decide.
I understand the point about damage to the property, but if the owners of the vehicles were that worried, surely they would clean the truck, etc.
Come do my car I'll dirty it is a bunch just for you to do it.
Is this English? Lol
