This is actually far better than trying to be psychic on what's wanted. What's far worse is a client who doesn't know what they want, but knows what they don't want when you show it to them - namely your first several concepts.

I do tend to agree... sometimes, ideas are shot down Coz visions clash, sometimes for spite, sometimes in ignorance... when the oldies sit at the top, and hire youngsters to give good ideas but don't take those ideas, what's the point?
