This Online Group Has People Sharing Only The Most Blessed Pics And It’s Like Internet Heaven (50 Pics)
Ever since the dawn of the world wide web, the internet has proven to be one hell of a hectic place. Opposite things here coexist: the good and the bad, the real and fictional, the sad news and the good news, the upsetting side and its wholesome twin.
Speaking of which, few things can make our day brighter and mood lighter than browsing through that wholesome content. There’s even a hugely popular Facebook group dedicated to precisely that, and they call it “Blessed Imageposting,” which means posting only the most blessed, joyous, wholesome images out there.
A whopping 437.4k members swear by it, and who wouldn’t if it tucks you in like a warm blanket!

Pangolins always looks like they're bringing bad news in a nervous fashion, like "I'm sorry to bother you master, but..." :p
Wholesomeness is a relatively new trend on the internet that is progressive, fashionable and spreads feel-good feelings. Previously, the internet was perceived as one hell of an infinite, often shady (if you press on where you shouldn’t) place where everyone would do, post, comment, and insult whatever as long as they were in the comfort of their homes.
But this new wave of wholesomeness that emerged some time around 2016 has provided people with little pockets of positivity and good vibes, something that wasn’t really there before. First, it was on Twitter and Tumblr, then the wholesome memes, posts and pics followed. The wholesome content started advocating things like self-respect, hard work, active listening, healthy relationships, and balanced diets.
Wholesome content today serves as something that ‘fluff pieces’ do for TV news. Essentially, they give us a break, a reset from the tiring flow of bad news that we have had in recent years. And it all makes sense: people crave good things, they look for assurance that after all, in the end, we are all deep down good people, willing to work together for the benefit of all. Wholesome posts are a perfect switch that immediately takes you to a better, brighter place.

Ah, the president of Ireland and one of his Bernese Mountain dogs.
If I move this hooman of mine will just forget everything he wants to say, I am his security blanket you know!
This is our president Michael D Higgins. He Was inseparable from his beautiful Dogs. They were called Bród a male and Síoda a female. Both have Irish names, with the name Bród meaning 'pride' and Síoda meaning 'silk'" Unfortunately Síoda died recently leaving the president as his wife utterly devastated 😭😭😭The dogs always followed him everywhere. Even at state events where he was meet presidents prime ministers and other foreign dignitaries. Where ever he goes the dogs go and he is just loved all the more for it. He is with out a doubt the best and most loved president Ireland has ever had.
I love the fact that those dogs made such an impression on the country as a whole, that there was a mural of Síoda painted somewhere in Dublin. And he has recently gotten a new addition, called Misneach and if that man and his dogs doesn't perfectly portray the love between a man and his dogs, then I don't know what would!
Load More Replies...Or Prime Minister... though Dilyn in the UK is probably rolling his eyes and has given up with Boris!
Load More Replies...YEP that is indeed the president of Ireland and he has TWO of these dogs and they go with him EVERYWHERE. State visitors always want to meet his two doggies before any state function. They steal the show everywhere he goes. I don't know if they allow links but here is a video of his dog inerrupting a women's day meeting to get a belly rub. https://indianexpress.com/article/trending/trending-globally/irish-president-michael-d-higgins-dog-belly-rub-6306526/
What does Michael have between him and the pulpit, a beer barrel? his pup is lovely
I love the story about how he was invited to the White House but refused because they wouldn't let him bring his dogs. They later sent an invite to him and his dogs. I'm pretty sure it's a myth because I've never found a record of it but I like to think it's true.
He's got two of them! He's known for his adorable, fluffy Bernese mountain dogs.
Load More Replies...Where the hell else would you find a duck shaped tomato? Please do not squeeze!

For anyone wondering... the pink one is an orchid mantis, the brown one is a ghost mantis, the dark green leaf is a hooded mantis, one of the more rare species in the mantis hobby, the stick one is a cat-eyed mantis, and the pale green leaf is a leaf insect. I've actually owned all of those insects except the hooded mantis.
Cats are odd

Cats are what humans should be, thankful for a pat on the head or a snuggle hug every day!

The biggest misnomer in the world today is Mankind. It should be two words Man and Kind. This post proves there are some people living by the last word. Thank heavens!
My sister and BIL have two Corgis, female a year older than her "brother;" goofy little things fought and snarled at each other whenever I went to their house, trying to establish who got to lie on my feet first. Probably wouldn't do that now that I've been gone for five years, and they're now seven-almost-eight, and six-almost-seven years old.
So enjoyed those. Glad we have animals in our lives.....me? I have a mini Schnauzer!
