Snakes and hats go together like baked-beans and grapes: it's rare to find one without the other. But when people start putting hats on their snakes, then you know it's really time to party! There's even an entire subreddit dedicated to the subculture.

Serpent-cosplay is arguably the first instance of costuming in history...with a twist! A little known fact is that Eve was convinced by a hat-wearing snake to offer the apple to Adam. 6000 years after the Earth's creation, snakes with hats are shunned no more, and are accepted members of society.

Other than the 6 nostrils like things, this is surprisingly cute - coming from someone who is scared of snakes...

I hate to correct you but I work at a zoo in I find this kind of eratating and I love to share my mileage of the snakes because they are my favorite animals. the things call nostrils are actually little pits that help the snake find pray by the heat they give off because snakes can't see well or smell that well.

Its Gandalf the ball python! They are so docile, especially this species! Those nostril things are heat pits, they help him see temperatures :D

this particular kind of snake looks a lot like an albino black mamba. excuse me if I'm wrong and please do correct me if I am, but they are highly venomous and very dangerous and although it might be very cute you might want to consider de-fanging it (unless you already have) or getting ride of it, as it is illegal in the united states although I'm not sure where you are from. if anyone knows what kind of snake this is please reply to my message. I hope this isn't an albino black mamba but please inform me if it is. thank you!

First of, it's not a black mamma, it's a ball python, I assured you they're quite harmless. Second, to de-fang a snake is like declawing your cat, unnecessary and cruel, they have those fangs and claws for a reason. Only professionals handle venomous snakes, they were not be keep simply as pets.

Snakes lay eggs, right? Maybe it's time for a reboot of the East Bunny...the Easter Snakey!

I know, I know. But my sweet girl was being such a good sport, sitting on my head like that, I just had to show her off.
