Former Server Lists Things She Will Not Be Tipping For In 2024, And Many People Agree

I totally agree with tipping and their pads are beginning to get on NY nerves..especially hair salons..this one guy who ran his own shop after my haircut he would take that pad and stand there manipulating it.."bleep bleep " noises coming off it and then finally he would pass it to me with 15% ..20%. 30% and finally 50% option and no option to get out of it..I finally stopped going to him..I go where I pay first then offer him a tip when the transaction is done if I feel to..and my amount not a machines amount..that's how it should be done..it should be our choice to tip and then our choice on the amount..

My eldest son is going for treatment today in Windsor for gambling before it ruins the rest of his life..I cannot believe that someone would give him scratch tickets or anything to do with gambling!! It would be a disrespectful act of no brains I have ever seen and I would make sure that this idiot knew that!!

The thing with this is, you ALWAYS notice the naughty kids, running amok in the restaurant. I would hazard a guess that because the other kids are well-behaved you NEVER notice them. It's always a minority spoiling it for the majority. Note: You can apply this to adults too.

the latest outrage with a doctor is that I needed a biopsy on a centimeter-square black spot on my hand that has been growing & looks bad (possibly melanoma). Any surgeon can to an office procedure biopsy & send it off to a pathologist, no big deal. But my internal medicine specialst referred me to a dermatologist. The dermatologist wanted to strip me naked, put me on a table under general anesthesia, do a complete full body scan, and then to biopsy the black growth. They wanted to charge me $2800. Whut!? This would also involve a relative having to take off from work & lose a day's pay to support me in the procedure since I would be out under general. I asked my regular internist doctor why all of this just to biopsy one small black growth on my hand. He said without blinking or shame, "Well, all of this is to get the dermatologist more money. Dermatologists aren't making enough money these days. This is to help my dermatologist friend". And he was serious, one more example of how screwed up US medicine is. I made my own appointment with a reasonable surgeon & will have a simple, cheap biopsy done next Friday. I told him this story, and he agreed the doctor & dermatologist were being ridiculous.

There are also doctors with biases toward certain people who won't treat symptoms correctly based on their bias. I don't have diabetes. Yet, because I'm overweight, they want to run my blood work every stupid time. Listen to your patients. They live with their bodies and know what's an issue and what isn't. Are there dumb people who shove things into their noses? Yes, obviously you need to take things with a grain of salt. Not all people are stupid.

Highly unlikely. One of my roommates actually is a cleaning man in a retirement home. I can only imagine what he goes through on a daily basis, yet he has never once made even the slightest hint of a negative comment about the people he cares for.
