Believe it or not, racism is still well and alive in our modern society, and why it shouldn't be is not for us to explain. But it definitely has to do with some huge holes in education and intellectual development of the spiteful people.
When Rihanna released her "Flyliner" liquid eyeliner line, one color name stood out above the rest, "Cuz I'm Black." The title was a response to a racist comment she received on Twitter where someone asked her why her hair "looked so nappy" to which she elegantly countered with "cuz I'm black b*ch" comeback.
Yes, racist trolls are everywhere on the internet, but RiRi isn't the only one with savage comebacks to these hateful people. All across Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and Instagram people are using their platforms to shut down ignorant comments in the spirit of anti-racism with the pettiness they deserve.
Scroll down below to see some of the best comebacks to bigots on the internet. From people clearing out the air about cultural appropriation and best roasts about being a legal immigrant to mean comebacks on vicious Muslim commentaries, you'll find that people are always ready to fight back for an honorable cause.

Cultural appropriation is only appropriation if they haven't done their research and don't know what they're using. This girl and the others who helped have clearly done their research and put in lots of effort. If you think THIS is appropriation, I'm sure they have a special spot for you in the mental institution!
I don't like the "done their research" argument because it assumes that you can't engage or appreciate something with only a minor interest. I enjoy a lot of things from many different cultures and I am not an expert in them, nor do I feel I should have to be to engage it it. I would agree that research and respect are desirable in anything, but are we creating a larger divide between ourselves and the "other" when we put such harsh restrictions on everything? I really love international food and I have gotten into arguments with people over it not being authentic enough and therefore it is some sort of insult and racist. In reality, Americanized international foods taste great and were originally adopted because of access to ingredients. Sure it isn't authentic, well researched, or honoring the original culture, but that doesn't make it a negative thing. I would say as long as it is not meant to be derogatory then it is just sharing culture.
Load More Replies...Both this picture and the response from people defending it is beautiful. Cultures should be shared, learned about and learned from.
I think it all depends on the purpose of the person who is using those cultural traditions, in this case this young girl looks like she is quite fond of Japanese culture and is honoring them, not making fun. There's a difference, one is acceptable and flattering the other isn't.
She looks lovely and that dress in beautiful. Full stop please.
im not japanese but i love their culture...my dream is one day, to go to that country and appreciate every little thing in their culture...i love the anime, manga, sushi, cherry blossom and everything...
Yet another white SJW thinking they must get offended on behalf of other races, even if said race isn't offended at all. That is the height of white privilege.
Just like when the whites wanted to get rid of Speedy Gonzales but the Hispanic community didn't ...the same people they wanted to remove it for.
Load More Replies...I have a hard time with cultural appropriation because if you could not wear the fashion of other cultures, then that would imply that you shouldn't even eat the food of other cultures. Cultural appropriation is really when ownership and recognition is taken away from the culture. No one thinks that white people are responsible for the Kimono, we all instantly recognize it as Japaneses. Times when cultural appropriation was a real problem was back in the 60s and 70s in the music industry where everyone took music from the black community and with no acknowledgment of black artists. People truly saw artists like Elvis as the creators of rock and blues. Everyone says that it isn't cultural appropriation if you research it, respect it, and do it perfectly. I disagree, it isn't cultural appropriation unless you try to profit from it without giving credit.
Thank you for a good example! Here is another one: I don't have issues with the teaparty as its concept is a loose, light and endearing play-pretend through which curiosity can be sparked, passion and empathy can be developed. However there is a book published in Poland by a journalist who had a 1 year stay in Japan and published a memoir. The target audience is not children or teens. The issue with it isn't that it's a memoir, but that the person in question hasn't delved deeply, spent time reflecting *or* consulted a specialist when describing a different culture and it's... not a respectful depiction of culture through negelct of preparation. At that level, with how famous the lady has become, she ought to do her due dilligence. It's not that the book isn't a good read, its intent certainly isn't "academic", the original entertainment value is there for sure, but it's the credibility of the journalist that has suffered and I can't recommend the book to anyone interested in Japan.
Load More Replies...While in Kyoto I visited essentially a Geisha Glamour Shots. It was amazing! It was a very popular place for Mothers & Daughters, or a Bride and her Bridal Party to do a fun fashion shoot. I was dressed as a geisha basically in under 5 minutes took and took few pics inside with a photographer. They asked if I was interested in walking around the temple in the Geisha outfit for fun pictures and to confuse tourists. I declined, but I would love to go back and do it again! Here is the website: http://kyoto-maiko.com/english
I asked a friend about cultural appropriation and he put it thusly: If there were a race of people that had a sacred symbol and I went and started putting that symbol on t-shirts or memes, especially for money, that would be an example of cultural appropriation.
e. where I stand on this is: it's easy to jump to conclusions based on one photo, and harder to ask questions and see what kind of experience was this for the kiddo and the parents. It could've been an inspiring afternoon that makes the girl go study Japanese OR it could be a "why isn't mommy making another dress for me? I want more, I want more" depending on how it went.
Load More Replies...The only time something is cultural appropriation is if you hijack something from another culture and pretend you INVENTED it. There are so many trash definitions of cultural appropriation. The ONLY time it’s truly wrong is when they take something and label it as their own creation, knowing it was taken from somewhere else. And that s**t is actually pretty rare. I am from a non white culture with tons of cool stuff and I wish our styles and music and symbols were more popular here. Anytime middle eastern stuff in general is in popular culture or music, I get excited. It’s fun to see people having a good time with global influences. That s**t is beautiful. Stop f*****g hating.
I see a lot of japanese business men in western style suits and as a brit it does not bother me one bit they appropriated our dress.
The biggest problem with this people thinking it’s okay to argue over a photo of a girl having a ‘Japanese tea party’. Just let the girl have her fun.
In the outdoor mall in Century City. They have a beautiful store that only sell gorgeous kimonos. They do not sell them exclusively to people of Japanese heritage. Everyone can buy them.
That is such a cute get up! I love love love Japanese culture. Wish I could travel there and just submerge myself in it.
awwww thank you in behalf of all non-a*****e people, white or not
I think we've become way to sensitive. The girl might actually go to University and study Oriental Studies as a major if she loves the tea party (kudos for the effort!) The other part of it, if you really want to make the girl aware of culture... as a parent show her that the kimono is an antithesis of our style of clothing and is supposed to fit the body no matter what it's like, whereas we need to fit a certain size. The tea ceremony itself is a celebration of rituals, Japanese people love those, and a way to enjoy the moment and be in it, which is what we are missing, and that the face paint, while beautiful, was actually harmful to Geisha's skins, and that's a great example of how we shouldn't copy culture thoughtlessly.
Most importantly, yes, Japan loves incorporating, but it's neither indiscriminate, nor without its challenges and ramifications. But that's too heavy for a little girl to talk about to. I'd actually approach it from a 'it's great to immerse yoursef for an afternoon in Japanese traditions, but the real question is how did the party make you feel, etc.". Kids are pretty ingenious when you take the time to listen to them, ask them questions and don't push "stay in your cultural lane lest you be judged a -phobic". There will be plenty of time to talk about respect, identity and values when they're teens.
Load More Replies...I think I'll pass on this one, as I'm from the country with Saint Nicolas and his now (already for years) heavily discussed Black Pete's. And there's no end insight because there's no common ground to be found. Even worse, the discussion is only getting more fierce and hostile by every passing year.
If you're offended by this kind of thing, maybe you shouldn't eat pizza or pasta if you're not Italian either.
Lets take this a little further shall we? The Hamburger originated from the town of Hamburg in Germany. It has since been adopted all over the world and is generally thought of American.
I loooooove Japanese culture. It is chic, inspiring, intruiging, calming and intellectually challenging and it develops your inner soul and strength. By the way, Japanese people are one of the people (if not the) to grow the oldest. RESPECT!
Twits! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Do you imitate what you hate?
I love the Japanese culture! It is amazing... as are my friends from Japanese ancestry!
Not allowed to dress in costumes from other countries and cultures? Damn, there goes Halloween and fancy dress parties....
@alexander Hamilton there is no such thing as reverse racism. (ie racism against white people) You can be prejudice against white people, but by definition you cannot be racist against them.
I think that completely depends on the definition you apply, it may interest you to consider the points in this article from the Director of the Jim Crow Museum linked below and how that may affect the above considerations about reverse racism. It's seems suspect to consider the generalisations regarding the variety in and between individuals, groups or collectives and applying a holistic, inclusive stance. I am not arguing for increasing division but more a reflective approach to better contemplate this challenging area. https://ferris.edu/HTMLS/news/jimcrow/question/2009/march.htm

I drank some Saki once in a moment of ignorant racism. My apologies to the entire Asian world. I know it must have angered you.
Cultural appropriation is a bunch of b******t. Since when is it wrong to appreciate other cultures? If I told you I was Korean but I wore a traditional Japanese kimono because I thought it was beautiful that would be wrong how
So like, just want to put it out there that 'Japanese people in Japan' don't have cultural appropriation issues because, well, they are mostly monocultural. Asian Americans who deal with the institutional racism of the United States might feel very differently about this white girl having a Gaisha Tea Party and those feelings are valid. They might find it very offensive, and with good reason.
If you are not Japanese, then don't comment on how Japanese people would be offended by this. My husband spent 4 months in Japan on an exchange program and one of my bff's spent a year there when she was a teen. Both said the same thing, Japanese people want to learn everything and are willing to teach foreigners anything. They are all for modernization while holding onto traditions. And since many of my friends are Japanese American, I might point out that none of them could care less what this little girl and her parents do with their time. Most of them are more offended that there are so many Americans that feel they are above learning about another culture or that they are eager to point a finger of racism on anyone who steps a toe outside their own culture. IOW, it's a child's tea party. Lighten up!
Load More Replies...I'm so confused. A white(?) child fully dresses as a geisha for a party, and those calling out cultural appropriation are deemed racist because culture should be shared... But a teen wears a Japanese inspired prom dress for, again, a party, and everyone is outraged over cultural appropriation. Is it the age difference? Otherwise there is a lot of hypocrisy being thrown around.
I kinda doubt that. Even though it’s likely to get bullied or teased for not being white in small hick towns, that doesn’t really stop non white people from carrying on with cultural traditions at home.

I was part of a non-profit small group of 10-12 people, who every weekend try handing out food to homeless people out of our pocket. One day this one white homeless fella refused to accept burger from our group member coz he was Asian and tried to raise a commotion shouting that due to Asians only he is homeless, crowd gathered around us, full of white people, listening to rant of this white dude, some even shaking the heads sympathetically, we all part of group were alien to that country, so we couldn't do much, and just left the scene. Are you constantly asking yourself how do I use spells to get my lover back now? Discover spells to make him come back and stay forever. In this article, I will also look at who needs spells to get their ex back. What is a spell to get a lover back? Love spells to bring back a lover should never be confused with the kind of witchcraft that forces someone to be with you against their will. We will always emphasize that love should be something that comes from the free will of the people involved in a relationship. It is for this reason that we believe that spells to make him come back should only be used when you know that your ex still has some feelings for you.
