I Challenged Myself To Make 100 Clay Creatures As A Part Of 100 Day Project, And Here’s The Result So Far
My name is Marta and I have a dream to be the best at sculpting with plasticine.
I remember when I was a child I would make little clay animals and place them around the kitchen. I have always loved surrounding myself with tiny figurines - I really liked feeling the comfort of their presence. There is something very magical about creating three dimensional pieces, I sometimes think they might come alive when I am asleep.
I have recently challenged myself to make 100 clay creatures as a part of 100 day project. This post also includes creatures that I made before the start of the project. You can follow my adventures on Instagram.

This is probably the only spider in the world that doesn't scare me. It is so heartmeltingly cute - didn't think I'd say that about a spider.

These creatures are amazing! The hedgehog is my favorite I guess! It is in my top 3 favorite animals, together with hummingbirds and dragonflies! The moths are also beautiful. I said the hedgehog is my favorite, but it is pretty hard to pick a favorite because they are all amazing!!!

Marta, when I first clicked on this page, I thought I was going to see very amateurish art. What you are capable of doing with your "critters" though, which is SOO difficult...is to embue them with a 'personality'!!! While I am looking at your sculptures, I am half expecting them to start talking..AND, I can imagine what kind of voice and accent they would have!! What you are doing is incredible!! Have you ever seen movies/kid shows done via clay art??? YOU would be EXCEPTIONAL at it!! You should seek out others doing the same! I think you may have an INCREDIBLE career ahead of you!!! Best of luck!
