There are many recreations out there on the vast fields of the internet. Some recreate paintings, some old family photos, some outfits of celebrities. This time, however, we have an artist that turns cats into anime girls.

This Japanese artist known as DHK recreated funny cat pictures in an anime style, turning the kittens into girls. The recreations are cute and professional. The artist manages to keep the resemblance to the original picture while creating stylish and beautiful characters that will probably make you wonder how your pets would look as humans.

DHK's style is based on Japanese anime and manga. He creates amazing illustrations and character concept designs and gets quite a lot of traffic on Twitter. His illustrations are simple, clean, and quite lewd at times. There are lots of artists out there that are inspired by anime. Most artists start out drawing with that style. It's no surprise, seeing that most of us grew up watching Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece and many other amazing series.

If you're wondering what catgirls are, here's a description from Wikipedia: "A catgirl is a female kemonomimi character with feline traits, such as cat ears, a cat tail, or other feline characteristics on an otherwise human body. Catgirls are found in various fiction genres and in particular Japanese anime and manga." Catgirls are quite popular these days with many artists drawing them and many anime jumping on this trope.
