The person who first pointed out how funny these cat grooming bag reviews on Amazon are is a Twitter user @rachelmillman. Recently, she shared a few of them on her profile and received quite a bit of attention.
"Making my head hurt from laughing at Amazon reviews of cat nail trimming bags," she wrote in her post featuring the reviews.

And in case you're a bit confused about this whole cat grooming bag thingie, here's some information. Basically, it's a restraining bag that should help you clean your cat's teeth, clip their nails, inject medication and wash them without the situation getting out of control.

I have two tuxedo cats i just wrap them in a blanket like a burrito and just leave the paw out that I need to cut and then switch to other and give them a nice snack when I'm finished

I've had a cat exactly like this she will sleep near me but wont let me pick her up i cant put her in carrier either my daughter won't help bcuz she turns into a ball of razor claws. I dont no how to clip her nails i had thought about wrapping her in a towel, what do u think

Why are people bathing cats ? I have a big dumb boy cat who requires occasional rear end cleaning . A warm wet washcloth with a tiny amount of baby soap does the trick .

Because sometimes they get into things that you can't let them lick off. A friend of mine had a cat that liked to lie under cars, until she got herself covered in engine oil from one. Not sure if it was the oil or the subsequent baths but she stopped napping under cars!

This just makes me mad. Most cats dislike water, and the sound of running water can be traumatic. Imagine being trapped in a bag and forced to be near something you are afraid of.

I know sphynx cats need to be bathed because they are hairless, but very rarely is it necessary to bathe a cat. Having said that I bathed a kitten once because he was so covered in fleas it was the only way I could get them out of his fur because as soon as he was in a wrapped in a towel the fleas climbed in to the towel and I was able to just dump the time in hot water and kill the fleas. Baby wipes also work miraculously well to wipe down the cat that gets into something mucky.

A really cheap and easy remedy that works well is diatomaceous earth. Sprinkle it on the cat and work it into their fur, sprinkle on their bedding and into your carpet. Bonus, it also helps keep them clear of worms, I mix a sprinkle into the wet food, thus it won't hurt if they lick it off. You can get at a lot of garden/hardware/farming stores. A 20lb bag cost me about $12, so call around for smaller sizes or do like I did and buy a bag for multiple households.

My 8 month old kitten is a true water cat... she tried to jump from the side of the tub to my towel rack via the toilet seat. Unfortunately the toilet cover was up from just being freshly used by the wife who hadn't 2 seconds to flush before the bowl became filled with wife pee, cat and the usual bowl chemicals . Had to take cat and "rinse" her in the tub and she just loved it! Got her all washed and dried, bowl flushed and floor cleaned from a cat dripping piss and toilet water so, there was a happy ending! Kitten sits in sink while you do dishes and in tub while you shower etc. She's a calico watercat.

Nail caps are a humane way to still let a cat practice their natural scratching instincts without destroying your furniture. They are highly recommended by veterinarians for cats that scratch and destroy furniture. Unfortunately, they don't last very long and sometimes cats can easy pull them off.

i might sound dumb right now but i dont think its fair to a cat to have caps on. i know it still allows them to retract their claws, but think about it. would YOU want caps on YOUR nails? especially when your hands (paws) are that small?

Dear god, when will people stop with the doge speak..? It's one of those weird trends that is associated with my age group, and everyone else laughs at how cringey it is. I know that it isn't technically hurting anyone, but it's like nails pn a chalk board to literally everyone who isn't around their 30s (or the few other people who apparently thought it was hilarious)..

I've never in all my life heard of anybody trimming their cat's claws, that's completely passed me by. If you can't let them out to scratch naturally then what about a scratching post, seems a bit cruel to restrain them.

I clip kitty's nails. He's super lazy and doesn't wear his nails out, so if I don't clip them he gets stuck on things while walking around. But I don't have to restrain him or anything, I just hold him in my lap for his trims, and then when he's done I pet his belly.

WHY ARE PEOPLE BATHING CATS?!? They literally do this themselves, their tongues are actually MADE to bathe with. There is no need to bathe a cat (skunk & flea situations are exemptions to this), they are not like dogs> I had a cat with white fur on his legs/feet, he NEVER needed to be bathed. Please stop subjecting them to this. It can be traumatizing!

For goodness sake, if the cat pees that is a sign of sheer terror, please find another way . They have bathing wipes , dry shampoo there are ways that are not traumatizing to the poor kitty

The first time we took our cats to a country vet he took the first one & gently dropped it head first into one leg of hose. They never moved, it didn't hurt them & he could examine them without injury to anyone. I've never forgotten the look at that cat's little face.

I see a lot if cats plotting to pee in someone's shoes. I do wish there was a pig sized version of this. Pot bellied pigs need hoof trims every once in awhile. If you think trying to get a cat to do something it doesn't want to do is hard, try it with a 100 lb pig. My two haven't needed it yet, but they will and I do NOT see it going well. 😳
